    EXEPRON is simplicty in action

    Overall Comment

    EXEPRON is simplicity in action. We were able to train our team how to use the product and get productive with it in literally a matter of hours. The insight that EXEPRON provides in the on-going decision-making and project management process lead us to better results, faster.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Be open-minded. We've all learned a lot about project management, what EXEPRON provides are some good decision-making tools and shifts are thinking to more "buffer management". The faster you can make the shift in thinking from Critical Path to Critical Chain thinking, the faster you can achieve the results you are looking to produce.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Ease of use and simplicity are important to us and why we chose EXEPRON. The buffer management, insight and decision-making tools are also top-notch! 1 click to anywhere means very good and easy navigation.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    I'm not sure that we really have a dislike. We are in construction, it would be nice to have an "app" for sub-contractors to easily update where they are on their parts of the product, but that is very specific to our industry.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    The vendor preformed well on all counts during our implementation and on-going support. We were extremely happy with the level, detail and responsiveness to questions.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    If we were to start over, I believe that we would have tried to "unlearn" what we had already learned about project management. It's a simple insight, but agility is what we were after, but our paradigms would often get in the way of learning. From the beginning, if we could have been more open-minded, we would have gotten results even faster.

    Great system; however, buy-in from the company I work at is holding us back.

    Great system; however, the company I work at needs to fully embrace it in order to see for themselves that it can help our business. It doesn't work to implement something and yet keep doing the same thing, hoping to see a change. Great customer service support - same day feedback in most cases. Willingness to adhere to what customers are asking for and make changes. A lot of information in reports, would be nice to be able to manipulate them and save the changes for the next time you ran the report. Hard for some people to envision how far behind a project is. I the original task blocks as dotted lines and where the actual tasks are today as solid lines, showing how behind a project is.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    If the owners or top personnel at your company don't completely buy in to the Exepron changes, it will never work.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Great visibility to a project status.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Can't print the instructions.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Not sure.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Start day 1 with the right person leading the implementation. Get total buy-in from the owners, otherwise don't even try. Consequences for people not following the system.

    Exepron - Critical Chain Project Management Software creates a paradigm shift in project management.

    I have used Exepron for the last 2.5 years. It is an amazing product that continues to show how projects can be managed in unique ways. Through the use of Critical Chain Project Management, we have been able to bring projects in on time and on the budget that had rarely happened before. Exepron takes into account not just the tasks of the project, but also who is doing those tasks and allows for the full picture to be seen when managing a project. In traditional project management, you manage the gaps. Exepron you manage the project.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Change is a risk, but this is a risk worth taking. To see a client watch as a project not only comes in on time and on the budget but to see it come in sooner than expected, all, because the whole project can be seen, is worth the risk.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Web-based. Quick support. Friendly support. And it works!

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    it would be nice to have an app that connects to the web interface. The web browser has gotten faster, but it is difficult to update on a mobile device.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    A customizable report would be helpful. There are a number of reports, but I can see being able to pull a report with multiple independent pieces into it to provide to a client would be valuable.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Hopefully, we would have learned Critical Chain Project Management sooner.

    The ease of implementing the Exepron software was a no-brainer––just access the web site and login in.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Ensure the participants have a consensus on the project management method. In our case, many participants had no formal education in project management methods. The training was logical and straightforward to get their buy-in. Others with prior project management experience with other solutions may need some time to adapt.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    It's easy to use and provides a single point of contact for all fulfillment activities. It provides a place to review the resource capacity usage and prevent overloading resources along. In our environment, the greatest sources of delays seem to come from multi-tasking resources. Minimizing overloading reduces multi-tasking right out of the box.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Once the software was implemented, the project planning and execution activities could begin. A formal way to engage "consulting" resources would have saved time in correcting a few, minor mistakes.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Looking back, we would train and integrate more customer and suppliers earlier. The ability of the software to synchronize is helpful to our internal resources and our "external" partners would have benefited sooner.

    The software includes everything required to get significant improvements in their project / portfolio management environment.

    Almost all support calls / emails are addressed within a few minutes. I can only remember one time the issue took a day to work out.

    Do not have doubts. It is the best tool to implement the critical chain project management.

    The main thing I like about Exepron is that it helps a lot in execution phase, when there is no time to thing what is wrong and should be changed. Exepron gives anwers what to do.

    There are tasks box, which might be a bit smaller, but the name of the task should be bigger, so that it is possible to see whole task name

    Great replacement for MS Project, Works Well with Agile.

    Support was outstanding - typically minutes to answer questions to the help desk, workarounds on more difficult problems available within 24 hours. The product was easy to learn and use, with great executive decision support capabilities.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    To get the full benefit, an organization must do more than just implement the software. The real benefits come from changing long-standing, poor PM practices, which was not possible with the old software.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    I can leave it for 3 months, and be productive with it in 5 minutes. It's almost as easy and intuitive as using a phone app.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Help manual.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Better marketing of their product, to facilitate user acceptance.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Involve more users in the implementation process.

    The visual presentation and intuitive capabilities are excellent. The ability to synchronize many projects and give a useful picture of resource loading is superior to any other product I've looked at or used.

    Every question was answered, every tough problem was resolved on a timely basis. I couldn't ask for more - much better than other vendors.

    Integration & Deployment - Overall comment

    The ability to export all the data in any usual format makes it easy to integrate with other applications and to customize queries and reports.
