Very willing to work with us on our unique situation and give us good terms.
Talk to them about your situation and see what terms you can get - they were very accomodating with us.
Simplicity - everyone knows how to use a spreadsheet and with their card views and templates it has really simplified how we track things in IT. We did need to make changes to IT processes, but now we have better adherance to those processes.
Some features are a little clunky, but they are changing it constantly. You can email a spreadsheet to yourself in Excel format - but the screen gets busy over time. Download Excel doesn't work in every browser. Little things like that.
Love to see more built-in reporting. We did licence sites etc. but haven't entirely seen the value.
We had too many people playing in the tool under different accounts rather than making it enterprise licenced and rolling out to everyone who needed it. Caused lots of problems with trials expiring, people leaving etc.

Ease of use, simple to understand by all levels of organization, and achieved needed outcomes.
Understand what your field use is for the product and recognize that different products serve different uses. This product is ideal for recurring operational initiatives but not larger scale projects.
Ease of use, email integration for notices. Great value.
Longer trial periods to accommodate longer duration operational activities used in PoCs.
We executed a number of PoCs using different vendor products. Would have done a more formal training of each solution before launching the PoCs.
Matched our needs and expectations.
Was able to get up and running under less than ideal conditions. We were completing PoCs when Superstorm Sandy hit and we were displaced from our single office location to multiple business continuity sites in addition to some work from home. We made the decision to move forward with SmartSheet and were up and running in hours. It proved invaluable in helping us to communicate and keep operations going for the three months that we were displaced, especially given that our central Exchange Server was down for a time after the storm hit.

Ease of use, intuitive use, effectiveness to fill the need, ability for people to quickly learn and use, ease of collaboration with external partners via the cloud.
Give it a try and start small with a group of project management professionals, then expand to more people/groups.
Simple to learn and use, but also effective.
Too early to determine - just launched.
Haven't needed support yet.

Ease of implementation and corporate adoption. Would like to see some product enhancements such as being able to identify more than one resource for tasks as well as the cost of that resource. Would like to see more earned value tools.
It's cloud based and can be accessed on multiple platforms.
The inability to identify multiple resources on a task.
Implement better cost control tools. Would also like to see seemless integration with their partners.
We would not do anything differently.

It got us away from shared spreadsheets for project tracking that transcended department boundaries.
Ability to share data, collaborate within IT and cross-functionally with department heads. Ease of use. No real training needed.
I was not involved directly in deployment, but as a SaaS product, it was easily deployed.
