The implementation phase came with a large number of issues for the vendor's project management team because of the complexity of the Maritime shipping business and the high level of variables that were already used and set in place through Excel modeling. The delivery and go live dates had difficulties to be respected. Several modules that were supposed to be used were dropped in the end because the system didn't perform as expected (e.g. cash flow forecasts, capex, etc) therefore these activities are partly done through Tagetik and outside.

We started with the analysis of possible vendor products and we choose Tagetik for its flexibility and for the empathy with the sales consultants. We understood that they aren’t only commercial people but they understood our needs also in small and specific details. Once fixed the time we analyze and we build up the system and we go live on time. At the moment, considering that they teach us how to customize the product, we are able to use the system independently asking only to the vendor a review on our job.

We start the process step by step, starting from consolidation, passing thruogh budget of sales, next step budget of the costs, then planning...making in this way, considering that we have peolple locally involved that has to do their day by day job, we succed to golive evry time in the time fixed. working with the same consultant since the beginning we understand each other and we work better. The system is extremely flexible and safe. the only problem we face is with our end user, that as usual do not like changes, they don't like new technologies. we have to face some session of training even if the system is very simple and for the end user is an excel file. start the project only if you know where you want to arrive.

We are using Tagetik for different issues: - Reporting: it' represent the oldest installation, set up several yers ago. It run regurarly, few variatons from the beginning, not memory about potential problems during the installation. - Cost of products: working in progress, we have had a good support by the company on the othrt han the time has been to long define and install the programm.

The chosen solution was implemented quickly thanks to the parametric functions; the company has followed us in each phase with a very skilled team, able to quickly understand the needs and apply them in the solution

The application works great! Managing data, building tables/matrices and reports is easy and fast. Using Tagetik increased our efficiency and reduced the time to deliver products. Great customer support too! We get support within two days.

The reporting with use of Tagetik has become faster and more effective. You can organize the report fitting the users needs. The consolidation process works well. A good thing is that the consolidator can follow step by step the data entry process of the subsidiaries.
