After an on-premise installation of Lync, done about 2 years ago, we decided to move to Skype for Business online. Our employees are predominantly distributed and in the field, and the on-prem Lync system was problematic and high maintenance for us. With some help from a qualified partner, my team was able to do a very smooth transition to Skype online, greatly reducing our admin overhead and improving our users' experience.

MS Lync 2013 has improved and simplified communication between our users. It has proven to put the company on a single phone system platform. We have has minor phone issues but that comes with any VoIP solution.

although it could be a good enterprise solution, we have not yet made good use of this resource
