    Great technology to support highly structured business processes.

    Generally a great product. To get the full value, the organization should integrate with the full Cognos suite.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Understand the people and the process before investigating technology.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Solution is fast, flexible, and stable.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Development is fairly time consuming.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Provide examples of best practices from other clients.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Ensure the business processes were fully vetted before pursuing a technology solution.

    Good support all throughout the implementation project and not just in pre-sales !

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Set up a list of criterias based on your requirements and the product capabilities, and use these to evaluate the vendor & its solution before arriving at a shortlist or selection.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Quick implementation time.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Nothing for the moment.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Participated completely in the Proof of Concept and that the vendor would recommended the implementer.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    None.

    Stability issues with the global TM1 rollout and challenges across the WAN deployment

    Early days for the organisation and overall experience has been ordinary.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Test the product and ease of use with end users. Ensure the security fits in with your current solutions and you don't have to re-engineer everything.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Easy to use compared to Hyperion.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Very buggy.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Increased transparency and support from IBM Consulting rather than 3rd party providers who are may not be looking at a long term vision / scalaeble solution.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Carry out a POC over the WAN Deployment

    Good features but lack of integration with other IBM solutions is a big negative.

    Service & support - overall comment

    IBM have not been very helpful in after sales service and support of tickets. There is internal lack of knowledge on the product and 3rd party vendors are very busy blaming IT for everything...

    Integrates well with Cognos for security but does not integrate with Cognos connection, thereby creating a fragmented user experience.
