Advanced HTML5 front end with Web Service integration capability. Weak on the implementation support. Their consulting services are very low on quality, skilled staff so plan to source your own consultants to implement their solution.
If you can put together a good implementation team, this solution beats the competition hands down.
Well designed and built on current technology.
Provide better implementation support and third party training.
Get more in-house training and contracted implementation staff.
Very functional for CDR.
Effective service and support after implementation.
Great for integrating with Web Services.

We're still in the early implementation stages, but vendor has established a high degree of confidence. It is a suite being added to existing Infor Cloud modules. The Government release very new, but private sector reviews have been good.
Have a plan and a strategy for Corporate Performance Management and not just a need for one part of a suite.
It will simplify a process that today is a serious pain point for the organization.
We're not done yet.
We would have started here instead of trying to create custom solutions.
What we've seen is good, but until we are operational it is hard to assess
Not there yet.

Still in progress and only partly implemented.
This product may not be one size fit for all permitting needs. Assess that carefully.
Believe product's best features have not yet been implemented for building.
Needed functionality also seems to be in the next version.
Better follow-up and follow-through.
Better change management on client side.
capabilities appears adequate but desired capabilities always seems to be with next version.
we have to chase down our reps. Change in personnel. Acquisition of Hansen by Infor during implementation.
integration experiences seems easy as we are a SQL Server shop and product is SS.

The migration path from the 4.x products to the 6.x products were not as smooth as we expected with the primary difference being user interface (not good), performance (on premise was better) and functional learning curve. Infor did a good job of supporting the implementations, providing advice and service, as well as connecting us with other customers who had done the same conversation. Good overall experience.
It is a solid system and now that ION works not a bad choice for mid size organizations that need an "ERP" solution that can integrate with other systems and solutions. Learn from other customers who are in your industry and geography. The Infor team is good but the past experience of customers is better.
The functionality is good and simple. The pricing and cost is reasonable. It is a solid solution for the mid market.
User interface is terrible. Just terrible.
Better package and integrate the modules (fixed asset, fleet, etc.) that they sell. This would really be the case a few years ago when ION was a clunky mess and better now that ION seems to work. Also, fix the user interface. It is hideous!
Would not minimized the transition from 4.x to 6.x in terms of learning curve, data conversion, user interface and performance. The G/L functionality is similar but still requires training and a management of user expectations for performance. Change management, module selection (begin with G/L and fixed assets), and user adaption is key.
Good solid product. Only the UI is bad. The fleet management module is still a year or so away from their competitors but on the right track.
Sales and functional support was ok once we determined who to call (sales staff turnover was high). Technical support is more stable and better.
The 4.x to 6.x migration is a fairly smooth transition for the technical team but harder on the users because of the user interface and different processes. Technically, the hybrid architecture and system performance (versus on premise) were the key challenges which we worked out over about a year.
