Implementation was fairly straight forward, no major problems.

Product worked well, seemed to be easy to use, vendor was helpful when unexpected problems arose.


Implementation was complicated and Issues with Use

Implementation was both costly and lengthy. Even after the effort to deloy, we have continually had problems with how the product operates; many web sessions are either not recorded or have missing steps in the user's experience. However, when the tool does record correctly the insight garnered from Tealeaf is excellent.

Great product but customer support is declining and fees increasing

Tealeaf is a great product that brought a lot of value add but since IBM purchased Tealeaf: - customer support and service is in a decline - IBM staff do not have a thorough knowledge of the product - IBM has increased the fees significantly - IBM profits from the fact that BOT traffic has increased significantly and thus the need to purchase more licenses


Ran into a few road blocks during the upgrade, but the final product was worth the trouble

It was a good learning experience. We encountered a few obstacles which the development team troublshot in house.

The product does what it says it will do as long as you can work within the framework of the software. Based on a recommendation from another company that implemented the software, we brought in a 3rd party consulting firm to install, size and initially configure the software.

WebSphere Commerce

WebSphere is a better cost option but not as user friendly

I had originally worked with WebSphere about 8 years ago with the Portal version and now we're looking to use an Enterprise version along with Oracle

It took a little bit of time to become acquainted with the system and it has a lot of functionality. Once we were able to get a strong understanding, we realized the powerful capabilities it provided and were able to utilize these.
