As with any SAP product, there are many ways to customize the solution. These customizations come with a cost, so there is a need for careful assessment and evaluation of these before committing to them. The user experience also has some opportunities, so it's important to consider user perspective when implementing new functions.
Consider the user experience of the solution and ability to leverage mobile and future innovative platforms with it.
Integration with ERP.
Less pressure to purchase commercialized cloud product.
Push back on customization and leverage out of the box functionality.
Sometimes it is required to log support matters through the OSS system. It can take a while for the ticket to be processed.
Ability to integrate with ERP using native ALE, IDOC, and RFC connections was very beneficial.
