Communication was key, after meeting with their engineers we were able to address all of our concerns and even more importantly their support was local and not "offshores"

After working with many other backup devices and software, I free Baraccuda is the best overall solution i have ever used.

We were looking to replace a Backup-Exec solution that was a configuration nightmare, always unreliable and was requiring way too much "time" to do backups. After searching what was available, Barracuda 890 solution was the most cost effective, with an industry unique refresh plan built in, and it was incredibly easy to configure and use.

Barracuda is a great company with great products. Their tech support folks are second to none. When the time came to upgrade our current backup server, another Barracuda product was a no-brainer.

Easy to install, friendly GUI, but the process to complete a bakcup takes too many steps.

Overall this product from the 100 to the 1000 series provides the same breadth of features and support to fit all customers needs the same. The simple interface and effortless cloud replication make it one of the best backup appliances currently on the market.

We moved from tape based backup to a smaller Barracuda to this robust, very fast, large capacity hybrid on premises/cloud based backup system. It has been remarkably simple to setup and maintain while being highly reliable and available. I greatly appreciate the licensing model that is based on the storage capacity of the device rather than on quantity of installed agents or types of agents. I don't have to worry about how many Exchange, SQL or VMWare agent licenses are needed. The interface is very user friendly and accessible from anywhere. Reporting is excellent. Deduplication savings more than 5x for our data. We use the restoring functionality quite often and have always been able to restore the data we need. The complaints I have are far outweighed by what I like about the system. But they include non-granular Active Directory backup/restore and sometimes slow general release of updates that include new fetaures you may be looking for.

They worked closely with our organization to get Barracuda Backup Appliances at all of our locations. We have large and small facilities, they examined each facility to make sure we had the appliance that would fit and allow for growth. If there was a technical issue, they made sure it was resolved in a timely fashion.
