    Great backup software for any company!

    Overall Comment

    Product works fast and reliably with any OS/HW you can think of and has a very fast and dedicated support.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Take your time understanding the internal structure; once you get that and the nomenclature, it's dead simple.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Once you have some understanding you can troubleshoot a lot yourself and implement it yourself!

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    New (vmware) features take quite a while to be implemented and getting kinks worked out.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Better UI (maybe Win32) and better wiki.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Take the SEP trainings beforehand and implement it alone with just the vendor helping.

    Works with every system I can think of.

    Service & support - overall comment

    No software works perfectly; but at least here you get very fast and competent support via mail, telephone and remote. And if that's not enough, their software engineers will get you a patch asap.

    Backup solution works perfectly in our environment.

    The Backup Product SEP-Sesam meets our requirements in a perfect way. The vendor offers great support and help while planning and implementing the solution. We are using this backup solution over 10 years and there were never a situation where we were not able to restore needed data.

    Great Service in native language (german). Direct communication with the company.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Check if SEP-Sesam works for your requirements and use it.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Nothing.
