This a great software to navigate and customize. The Web view is simple and very easily changes. I have setup several dashboards to more easily view all my systems.

Product has integrated well with existing Sunbird DCIM products we have. Integration made it installation a much easier process.

We've been using dcTrack & PowerIQ since version 3. What I love the most is the dedication of their development team to always find ways to improve the product with every new release. Their team is always approachable and responds quickly to questions, issues, and requests for new improvements. Their semi-annual user conferences are a great place to meet face to face with engineers working on application improvements and new features as well as a chance to meet with peers from within the industry. We use dcTrack & PowerIQ exclusively to monitor and control hardware inventory in our main Data Centers as well as all remote offices' MDF & IDF rooms.

Raritan (Sunbird now) could not possibly have exceeded our expectations any more than they did. The robust and groundbreaking hardware/software combination completely delivered what we wanted - which could not be found elsewhere at the time (2007). Their support was always there to help, and they never failed to deliver. We now have detailed and granular information that allows us to accurately plan for capacity, and more importantly keep our data centers running fault free for years.

Listen to customers use cases and enhancing the tool with the customer's experiences in the data center. Support is readily available and helpful.

dcTrack software works well in our environment and allows for the management of moves/adds/changes within the DC along with power and network connectivity. Support and relationship with the vendor has assisted us in the implementation and on-going maintenance. There is room for improvement on the usability of the software, some simple tasks can be time consuming to complete. The software is currently undergoing further development - this will give the opportunity for Sunbird to match the functionality offered by other vendors i.e. management dashboards. The retirement of the 'classic view' would be a huge benefit, allowing all functionality through the Web UI.

Upon implementation, we realized some limitations with the software as well as some issues with the software that needed to be worked out. The vendor was relatively new to the market at that time, but they have grown a lot. There are still some quirks and flaws with the software, but the vendor is very receptive to customer requests and works hard to get the kinks worked out.
