They have a very good solution for Data Integration, but Hitachi must focus on the commercial strategy.
Select carefuly the partner. Hitachi does not have expertise in the solution, so you can deploy the solution using a partner o learning by yourself.
The ease to deploy and extend.
Hitachi has bought pentaho a few months ago. They don't now the solution.
Know deeply the product, and have technical support without partners.
The partner did an excellent job.

While the server manual install is a little young, the support for it was excellent.
Create a apt-get or yum repository. this would help to streamline the server install process
Use the prepackaged installer to install the server on a linux environment. set up all 3 environments very seperately and create data connections for all 3.

their support was very helpful and always willing to jump on a call with you.
it integrates well into a variety of environments and development has a quick turnaround for concept to job time.

For cost, it seems like a good option. Although the technical documentation makes if difficult to deploy yourself unless you only plan to use the vendor's wizards.
Affordable replacement for our legacy ETL software.
Unless paying for vendor implementation, basic support pretty much leaves you on your own to figure things out the best you can.
Provide better documentation for customer-staffed deployments that cannot use the defaults from the wizards.
Perform a more comprehensive POC before purchase.
Had some issues receiving help we needed during manual installation.
