    Product(s): Cloudera Enterprise

One of the best support organizations that I've worked with, throughout my career.

    Overall Comment

One of the best support organizations that I've worked with, throughout my career.

What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

Ensure Executive support; simultaneously initiate a core, business driven use case as well as POC use cases to enable experimentation and learnings from feature sets that the platform provides, but are not leveraged in the core, business driven use case.

What do you like most about the product or service?

Stable, Easy to Administer, always innovating both around feature set as well as ease for developers/administrators.

What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

Build out more frameworks, to help jump start different use cases.

    Product(s): Cloudera Enterprise Data Hub

Cloudera provides great set of automated features on top of Hadoop.

    Overall Comment

Since Cloudera EDH was built on Hadoop which is not only an open source technology but well adopted across the IT orgs. What Cloudera brings us is the automation of features and functions which otherwise had to be developed. Which in turn helped us to concentrate on building our core functions rather than other cross cutting concerns.

What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

Start with hiring developers with good experience on this platform and build a robust dev/support team before actually starting the project implementation.

What do you like most about the product or service?

Elasticity - expand as you need.

What do you dislike most about the product?

Requires new skills on the set of technologies it supports. Hive, Flume, Pig etc.

If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

Start with hiring developers with good experience on this platform and build a robust dev/support team before actually starting the project implementation.

Integration & Deployment - Overall comment

It took us 3-4 months to successfully complete 2 POC's which included sourcing data from Legacy systems and providing end user reports.
