Reactive and useful collaboration on concrete issues.

Cloudera Distribution Hadoop

Satisfied overall - however scope of improvement with Spark, Solr and HBase

Cloudera support is good and wide user community. However, for some technologies like Spark, Hbase, Solr they are not up-to-speed with the growing market.

Cloudera Distribution Hadoop

Cloudera helped us accelerate and operationalize data science in a conservative industry

Excellent partnership with vendors. Cloudera brought in their partners and shared best practices on configurations in other customers that have had success.

From proof of concept to production implementation

Conducted a proof of concept with Cloudera to truly be hands to keyboard and test out their functionality. Great experience

Cloudera Distribution Hadoop,Cloudera Enterprise

Works as advertised...not cheapest distro, but worth the cost

Overall we have been very happy with the service and support we have received from Cloudera. We have a very good local sales team (which I have found is many times the difference on how well a vendor performs).

Cloudera Distribution Hadoop,Cloudera Enterprise

Great maturity for on-premises implementations; but frustrating for cloud only setups

Pros: Great partnership / Collaboration with the product management team at Cloudera; Team Cloudera willing to work with us to make our project successful; Cons: A majority of Cloudera's install base is still on-prem; cloud friendliness (getting better by the day, but we had to deal with growing pains)
