    Product(s): SQL Server

Implementation is always a breeze with SQL Server.

    Overall Comment

Microsoft is and has been a proven market leader in the database space. The change of CEO has only pushed MS further into the future as they embrace their changing role in technology and become more agile in their adoption to new tech and accepting of their changed role in the industry.

What do you like most about the product or service?

With the change in CEO Microsoft is now looking to be a market leader in new emerging tech and not a follower. They are also embracing current methods of doing things and not looking to develop a proprietary MS method.

If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

We might have held of a couple of quarters and moved to SQL Server 2016 but that speaks more to our internal roadmap than what Microsoft was offering at the time.

    Product(s): SQL Server

Easy Implementation, Needed additional tools for completing our roadmap.

    Overall Comment

Very good overall. Lets us do what we need to. Still figuring out stuff and there are things that can be done in a different way. We adopted Power BI very early but it has limitations in its current phase. While we are testing SQL Server 2016 with new Power BI version and the road map looks promising but there are limitations because there are no solid dates around feature sets becoming available.

What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

SQL Server has lot of good features and with 2016, it is taking BI stuff on the new level. You cannot go wrong with this in the long run.

What do you like most about the product or service?

    Easy to implement and use.

What do you dislike most about the product?

    Nothing as such.

What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

More transparency in the roadmap and publish the list of features proactively in the upcoming release.

If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

Don't bet on future only :)
