    Great partners. Flexibility of the tool leads to some complexity in implementation

    Overall Comment

    EP tech staff has been a pleasure to work with. Very professional and knowledgeable Solution Architect and Business Analysts. Truly worked as partners with us to understand our project. They helped us build for future flexibility and saved us potential rework and technical debt. The tool itself is built on flexibility but at times the integration calls can be cumbersome and a bit verbose because of the level of depth within their cart navigation schema. The biggest hang-up is that some errors must be checked for specifically and are not automatically bubbled to surface for each call.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Research, research, plan, architect, research and then contact a resource that will align with your established vision.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Great people. Very helpful and share knowledge.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Verbose cart management hierarchy.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    It would be great if they had a more user-friendly way to navigate their cart management. Cortex is cumbersome.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    We would likely evaluate how much of the capabilities could be handled through micro services outside of the product. However, our perspective had been shaped by the experience and insights learned through the process. So if we could start over with the knowledge we have now and the original budget, probably should still engage with EP for technical advice.
