Oracle Cloud Commerce is a new platform for Oracle but it's clear they are treating it as a high priority. They have been extremely helpful.

Although the implementation was performed smoothly initially and with the first few upgrades, the support and comprehension of Opera PMS have been lacking since Micros was purchased by Oracle. High-priority incidents that would only take a few hours with Micros support are now taking weeks to months to resolve with the Oracle support, even though the acquisition occurred over a year ago. Our most recent upgrade was planned out a month in advance but was postponed within a day of execution due to the last minute decision on their end. When the upgrade was performed, we were left with a myriad of issues, some still present to this day with a void of support from Oracle. We still have to follow up on these support tickets from over six months ago, only to be told that we would receive a call shortly—a call that's never made. At this point, we're forced to manage and support the software on our own, regardless of the maintenance contract we made.

The success of this product implementation weighed heavily with the implementation vendor, Sapient that developed the roadmap for implementation and deployment.

The ATG product was easily rolled out with the out of the box functionality. Only upon customization did we add a level of complexity that we struggled to understand the expected outcomes. It took the team longer to overcome the bumps of the customizations. Our Business Team experienced disappointments when staging the deployment of sites as they couldn't view the stage site in one instance. Staging required looking at multiple feature sets and caused confusion.
