Product(s): Oracle Commerce; Oracle Commerce Cloud; iStore; Micros; ATG

Choose your 3rd party integrators carefully - make sure they have the experience.

    Overall Comment

The success of this product implementation weighed heavily with the implementation vendor, Sapient that developed the roadmap for implementation and deployment.

What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

Scaling and forecasting is very important.

What do you like most about the product or service?

Don't know yet - just launching.

What do you dislike most about the product?

Very huge undertaking because of the scaling challenges.

What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

Ensure the professional services acquired for the transformation work closely with the PMO to accelerate the deliverables from the business and the stakeholders. It has been a challenge since 60% of the staff was augmented through professional services and the relationship was very siloed.

If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

Suggest that the high level timeline that was presented to the CIO for acceptance is also reviewed and evaluated by the PMO or EPMO.

Product(s): Oracle Commerce; Oracle Commerce Cloud; iStore; Micros; ATG

Out of the box features easily implemented but beware of customizing features.

    Overall Comment

The ATG product was easily rolled out with the out of the box functionality. Only upon customization did we add a level of complexity that we struggled to understand the expected outcomes. It took the team longer to overcome the bumps of the customizations. Our Business Team experienced disappointments when staging the deployment of sites as they couldn't view the stage site in one instance. Staging required looking at multiple feature sets and caused confusion.

What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

Engage with a 3rd party support vendor that can help you along the journey.

What do you like most about the product or service?

Ease of use for business users.

What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

Nothing, we were very happy with the product and service received.

If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

Spend more time on planning of customizations, ensuring all system integration details are well planned.
