Box has been extremely responsive to our needs and has consistently provided the answers and resources to any challenges we have had. They have a solid understanding of the challenges companies face as they migrate not only into SAAS products but all of the security and governance issues around offsite storage and collaboration.
Identify the innovate users within functional areas and allow them to take the lead on sharing and implementing with their teams (with some guidelines in place of course). We found that some of our most tech-savvy users were able to find solutions with Box that we were not aware of. This even further drove the use and adoption.
I have two things that resonate with me regarding Box. The first is that our users can be anywhere on the globe and know that they can store and retrieve their important information. Given an adequate internet connection, my experience is that Box is very response no matter where I am accessing from (various point in the US, Asia, Africa, Europe) - that has been my experience. The second thing is understanding the focus on security behind all that they do, I have the confidence that our data is secure, both in transmission and at rest. None of the rest matters if security is not at the foundation - which it is with Box. We spent a long time researching this technology before choosing Box. They were the only one that met our checklist with regard to security and governance.
oNot much to dislike. It's really a given with any connected service, but you have to be connected to retrieve data that you have not already synced or downloaded.
Not a lot of complaint here - Box has been quick to respond to our needs and the needs of the marketplace. As with all products, I'm always looking to reduce costs, but the value for what we spend is well worth it.
We would make sure we had the proper folder structure in place from the start so that we didn't have to redo some of what was put in place by users early on. With that in place, we would also have been freer to add users more quickly, as the value of the product increased for us as the percentage of our users on it increased.
Box has not only provided an excellent experience for the core sharing/collaborative feature, but has continued to add other features to extend the value of the product.
Box has been extremely responsive to help us tailor the experience to mimic all the good things about on-prem storage, thus minimizing the pain some people feel with change. This has also been helpful from an administrative standpoint - helping us to control access.
Box has provided the resources to help us deploy the product in the best way to our on-prem HQ users and helped replicate the look and feel of on-prem storage to minimize the challenges associated with change for some users.

Box transition has been smooth and well received. We had an extensive training program for our end users including personal and departmental shared drive migration.
Definitely focus on customer training.

Fantastic company. Security focus is top notch. Pretty much everyone we work with in the org is at the top of their game.
Integration with Microsoft continues to mature.
Integration with thick Microsoft Office clients works great. Opportunity is better integration with Microsoft Office Online products.
Plan for rapid growth and scale and adoption.
Very responsive on support issues.

The support was great with Box and still is to this day. We had their team come on site and help us get the ball rolling and stuck with us every step of the way as we got ready to blaze the path.
Go with Box and don't look back.

We have used Box for a variety of functions from Bid management, to internal document sharing, to collaboration and project record.
Find a better 3rd party sync tool for server syncronization where large amounts of data is involved.
Easy to use, integrates with Microsoft Office 365 for collaboration and best of both worlds.
Isn't Windows File structure. Some users complain that it isn't available from Windows explorer, but that may change with Box for Windows, being evaluated.
Better large scale syncronization.
Start with Single Sign On instead of independent passwords.
We've had a lot of good service with weekly calls to our account management.
Fast and Easy! Only large scale hybrid server-Box integration requires 3rd party solution for best solution.

Has been highly available with only a minor outage or two. However very useful and flexible tool to collaborate, share, distribute and store data. Many users would like a linux client.

From installation to Go Live went very smoothly. Most delays were caused by internal departments.
Understand unlimited does have limits - ask what they are. For us the limitation on file size and file name character length excludes some of our major data storage participants.
Easy to use.
The order of the folders won't stay arranged by name.
Helps migrate customers with large data.
Have clients clean up prior to upload. Exclude .PST files (emails).

Box has completely changed the way our sales professionals work. They have the ability to have sell sheets, product information and market statics at their fingertips. They now can streamline and share success displays with Box Capture and collaborate with peers using Box Notes.
Do not be afraid of cloud-based storage. The Box team is great working with and is looking out for your success.
Ease of use. Always the leader in area of technology.
Nothing, the implementation team and customer success team have done so much for our organization.
