Very happy with Box. Plan on a larger implementation if I can get my organizational concers taken care of.
Go small to start then start a dialogue.
Availability on every platform.
Could be easier to admininstor.
Out of the box AD integration.
Involve IT Help Desk, Desktop support etc. easy. They can install client and speed up adaptation by knowing how to answer the few questions that pop up.

Tool has worked well Collaboration with external partners has worked but been a little challenging
Check closely into the licensing models if you intend to use the tool to collaborate with external partners.

Product worked very well. Implementation was very quick and pretty straight forward.

The Box team was very responsive to our business requirements.
Box should definitely be on the short list if your considering a cloud-based solution.
I like that the product is cloud based and offers very responsive upload and download speeds for customers spread throughout a global geography.
I would like for the vendor to offer a user interface option that could more easily be customized rather than the only option being for us to build a custom interface from the ground up.
I think bringing in the vendor sooner for product demos to the users would help expedite the process.
The Box platform is a very flexible solution that enabled us to deploy a cloud based solution that was very customized to our users business requirements.
Sometimes responses from the Box development team would take weeks.
The authentication piece of integration seemed to take longer than it should have.

Terms and Conditions were difficult to get through, but the final agreement was acceptable. The product is great and worth the effort.

Box has been extremely responsive to our needs and has consistently provided the answers and resources to any challenges we have had. They have a solid understanding of the challenges companies face as they migrate not only into SAAS products but all of the security and governance issues around offsite storage and collaboration.
Identify the innovate users within functional areas and allow them to take the lead on sharing and implementing with their teams (with some guidelines in place of course). We found that some of our most tech-savvy users were able to find solutions with Box that we were not aware of. This even further drove the use and adoption.
I have two things that resonate with me regarding Box. The first is that our users can be anywhere on the globe and know that they can store and retrieve their important information. Given an adequate internet connection, my experience is that Box is very response no matter where I am accessing from (various point in the US, Asia, Africa, Europe) - that has been my experience. The second thing is understanding the focus on security behind all that they do, I have the confidence that our data is secure, both in transmission and at rest. None of the rest matters if security is not at the foundation - which it is with Box. We spent a long time researching this technology before choosing Box. They were the only one that met our checklist with regard to security and governance.
oNot much to dislike. It's really a given with any connected service, but you have to be connected to retrieve data that you have not already synced or downloaded.
Not a lot of complaint here - Box has been quick to respond to our needs and the needs of the marketplace. As with all products, I'm always looking to reduce costs, but the value for what we spend is well worth it.
We would make sure we had the proper folder structure in place from the start so that we didn't have to redo some of what was put in place by users early on. With that in place, we would also have been freer to add users more quickly, as the value of the product increased for us as the percentage of our users on it increased.
Box has not only provided an excellent experience for the core sharing/collaborative feature, but has continued to add other features to extend the value of the product.
Box has been extremely responsive to help us tailor the experience to mimic all the good things about on-prem storage, thus minimizing the pain some people feel with change. This has also been helpful from an administrative standpoint - helping us to control access.
Box has provided the resources to help us deploy the product in the best way to our on-prem HQ users and helped replicate the look and feel of on-prem storage to minimize the challenges associated with change for some users.

Box transition has been smooth and well received. We had an extensive training program for our end users including personal and departmental shared drive migration.
Definitely focus on customer training.

A little more technical integration with SSO.
