We like the capability to use ShareFile on-premises or in the cloud based on our needs. This is necessary due to regulations and risk. ShareFile if very simple to use and customers continue to compliment the usability. Implementation was somewhat complex for on-premise but we were able to deploy in about one week.
Ease of use for all platforms and the ability to deploy in a hybrid model.
It would be helpful if we could brand the web portal differently for groups of users. We support multiple brands and that can be a challenge.
Support has been great every time I have had to call in. The technical support team has be responsive and easy to work with.

We found that the dedicated ShareFile team was very responsive and open to helping us through initial issues with the product.
Be prepared to view the product offerings from a business perspective.
The product has all of the basic functionality we needed. I would like to see additional controls over who can share files and who they can share with.
The lack of control over sharing files is a concern. Any user can send files out to any external party. I would like to see an option for a whitelist of available third-party recipients.
The vendor worked very well with us.
We would have been better served if we had formulated additional business use cases to apply to our selection and configuration.
Very responsive product team.
Some advanced security features are still being developed.

Product met all security goals which was our primary consideration. Specific to on-premises.
While our primary reason for implementation was security, this does not necessarily need to be the message, it is an outcome. Focus on productivity enhancements for users and ease of access.
On-premises solution for EFSS with needed Security.
None. Vendor implementation was well documented and a planned process.
We hard-cut all consumer EFSS solutions. We would spend more time on user-awareness and slower migration.
Product includes: local workstation sync, web interface and apps for mobile users.
The Citrix team was fantastic and went through lengths to understand our environment and focus.

The Citrix team has been great to work with. They have been very supportive when we have run into issues and the Sharefile product has performed great for us. We've been using it as the communications hub during an acquisition and we are definitely recognizing the value of the product.
If you are concerned about users storing data in the cloud and sharing large data files through means that may be less secure than you would like, Sharefile is a great solution for addressing the security needs while retaining the productivity of the business.
I sleep better at night knowing that our users are now sharing files securely and also accessing critical data remotely in a secure manner.
Assigning permissions to folders is a bit confusing at times - but you get used to it over time.
Nothing as of yet.
Nothing at this time.
Overall, sharing files with internal and external users is great. The only issue I have is around assigning multiple permissions to some folders.
We had a couple of hiccups early in the implementation process, but the vendor helped us work them out and it's been running great since then.
