The product has worked well in the enterprise. The deployment actually uncovered bandwidth issues at some of our smaller locations when the product was syncronizing with the content in users document folders. At times synching brought sights to a halt. So check the bandwidth of remote sites before deploying across the company. Once deployed, it is a great product and broadly used.
love that you can access content on any device once it is synced thru Syncplicity.
Ensure that risk assessments were complete and aligned across various organizations and check foundational infrastructure such as network before deploying.
Service and Support was very responsive. Technical staff well versed on product.

Syncplicity allows us to place a front-end to our storage area network and allows our field force to work from anywhere, using the device of their choice.
I would ensure that Syncplicity sticks to their roadmap and have the long-term backing of its parent organization.
the ability to have access to all of my files, anytime, anywhere, from my device of choice.
the lack of connectors into industry standard apps and services
kept up with the progression of the industry and competitors. connect to more enterprise content management systems.
I think we would've considered a more proven product that had the long-term backing of the vendor.

Our Syncplicity customer success manager was very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful during our implementation and roll-out. He has always been available to us for any questions we may have and has been available to us 10 months after out roll-out. Syncplicity is very customer focused. The tool itself if fairly straight forward and provides a secure way for us to sync and share documents. Customer adoption has been slow but, we had a slow roll-out so we expected that.
Know what you actually want in an EFSS product, know who your customers are and how they will be using the product.
Ease of use, flexibility in setting up the product.
As the project manager, I don't really think the vendor could have done anything differently. Any issues we had, weren't because of the tool.
We had several scope changes during the course of this project. This project would have gone better and would have been finished earlier if more research about the tool itself and the needs of our customers had been done. We have not complaints with the product itself and the customer success team was fantastic.
The customer success manager and the technical lead for Syncplicity were very helpful during our long implementation and worked with us very closely with issues that came up and continue to answer questions and check in with us even after our implementation and roll-out.
Syncplicity is on prem. That decision came with its own set of issues. Further, we had issues with ONE Login, we worked with our customer success manager and eventually got everything working the way it should. As the PM on this project, I can't say the issue was with Syncplicity.

Syncplicity's customer success team is key in our success. They have been with us every step of the way providing support and listening to our concerns. Their roadmap with new release information provides us with features before we can ask the questions.
We placed security as a major focus beside functionality. As we deployed the product, security staying a major concern. We also purchased a product that provided a hybrid solution although we did not begin with a plan for on-premise storage. When the requirement surfaced, we were ready with a solution.
Continuous improvement and support site. The videos and articles are short and easy to digest.
Does not integrate directly with XenMobile.
Wish they would provide partner more closely with OKTA or other SSO solution.
If we could start over, we spend more time in planning migration of our department file shares.
Syncplicity provides the same capabilities as it's competitors and beyond.
Their customer success team is always available and easy to contact.

Syncplicity bundles all services and support into a single cost. There are no add-on fees or licenses. The product provides unlimited file size support and checkpoints the file transfer in 5 MB chunks so long files can resume if temporarily disconnected. Excellent security and granular controls.
Make sure you test the SSL security of all potential security vendor sites. We used the Qualys SSL Labs testing site (http://www.ssllabs.com) and verified the vendor as well as our actual proof of concept site.
The user interface is exceptionally easy to use. Windows users can drag desktop files onto the browser and the file is sent. Very well done. The mobile interface allows you to open/preview office files without having Office components installed on an iPhone.
Restful API documentation
The vendor was very effective in communications and delivery. If you have global coverage discuss training options in languages other than English.
We used an internal Yammer site for gathering proof of concept results from a global user group. We should have provided better instructions and expectation to the group with more structure to the results gathering.
Syncplicity is a really excellent company. They are a pleasure to work with and technically very focused on their marketplace.

Make sure you have a communication plan in place prior to implementing this solution to your organization to gain better adoption.

More announcements about the product and possibly some better documentation to provide to new users that join the organization.
Our account rep is always accessible and willing to setup a quick call to assist when necessary.
Our account representative who took care of our training needs. He was very flexible and willing to assist while onsite and after the application was rolled out.

Syncplicity offers products that enable your data to become mobile while allowing users to collaborate seamlessly internally and externally. The Syncplicity team is customer focused and is repeatedly looking for product improvements and customer feedback.
Try and buy is the best advice. No solution fits all needs, find your most important qualities and find a solution that wraps around it.
Its ease of manageability, sharing, and collaboration between users.
The quicker rollout of features.
Start the implementation process sooner.
The product easily allows users to collaborate and take their data on the go. We've also used this product as the method to "backup" users local data and it gives the user the ability to manage their own data.
Service and support have been great, much better than the general technology company.
Our deployment went very smoothly and users have begun to see the value in using the product.
