    EFSS bundled as a service which provides high quality support

    Overall Comment

    Syncplicity bundles all services and support into a single cost. There are no add-on fees or licenses. The product provides unlimited file size support and checkpoints the file transfer in 5 MB chunks so long files can resume if temporarily disconnected. Excellent security and granular controls.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Make sure you test the SSL security of all potential security vendor sites. We used the Qualys SSL Labs testing site (http://www.ssllabs.com) and verified the vendor as well as our actual proof of concept site.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    The user interface is exceptionally easy to use. Windows users can drag desktop files onto the browser and the file is sent. Very well done. The mobile interface allows you to open/preview office files without having Office components installed on an iPhone.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Restful API documentation

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    The vendor was very effective in communications and delivery. If you have global coverage discuss training options in languages other than English.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    We used an internal Yammer site for gathering proof of concept results from a global user group. We should have provided better instructions and expectation to the group with more structure to the results gathering.

    Syncplicity is a really excellent company. They are a pleasure to work with and technically very focused on their marketplace.

    Make sure you have a communication plan in place prior to implementing this solution to your organization to gain better adoption.

    Not a fan of the mobile application

    More announcements about the product and possibly some better documentation to provide to new users that join the organization.

    This is a product that covers all the employees’ needs in regards information and documentation access from any device at any time.

    They are very close to the customer so any improvement or suggestion made by a customer are close to release in the next version.

    Maybe it is a little bit costly related with other similar solutions.

    Security and administration options.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    If you are thinking to implement a solution for file sharing before taking a decision I fully recommend to analyze this product even form other competitors that offer by free in their email solutions.

    Syncplicity team is very customer focused . They helped us in architecting the solution as per our needs. Support team is also very prompt with a quick turnaround time whenever we needed their help in high priority issues.

    Evaluate both Hybrid and SaaS solution and choose the one which best suits your organizational needs.

    Vendor best matched the enterprise capabilities we were looking for. After selection, they have been a very good partner to work with. Their support team is very responsive.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    It serves the multiple needs of 1) making content available across multiple devices 2) making it easy to share content with other, including outside the company 3) backup / restore content.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    May not really fall in the dislike category, but would be nice if it would automatically pause when on a slow bandwidth connection, e.g. on an airplane.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Probe harder for hybrid storage (only sensitive data on prem and other data in the cloud).

    Try before you buy!

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Easy to use, set it and forgett it, more or less.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Anynomus in the market, few knows about it.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    To get the users the ability to not sync folders that are big, but still be able to browse the folders and only sync/download the files you need.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Give users more information on why they should use it before we started to roll it out.

    Conduct a representative proof of concept at an early stage to get tangible results.

    Great enterprise-ready feature sets, the multi-device sync and sharing functionality has vastly improved the company's productivity and excellent customer service.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    No specific issues - all requirements are being implemented by Syncplicity and are on the roadmap deemed acceptable by our business.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Have a consulting team with the required expertise in place to support large enterprises at the early stages of implementation, integration and rollout.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Setup a global rollout team at earlier stages of the project.

    We are highly satisfied with the product and its capabilities. Further required product capabilities are assessed within weeks and if feasible and high priority added to the product roadmap. The roadmap is ambitious and is fulfilled. Keep up the great work!
