    The migration from the competitive product to Webroot SecureAnywhere was extremely simple!

    Overall Comment

    Webroot was very easy to work with and the product they designed made the deployment and migration from the competitive product we were using extremely simple. It was deployed and tested alongside our existing solution offering us a risk-free go live.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Set up a demo and test it for yourself. Webroot will be happy to let you test the product in your environment.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    The ease of deployment and ongoing management of the product. We never have issues with clients not deploying or causing any support issues on the client machines. Upgrades happen seamlessly with no effort from IT.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    We would have migrated to Webroot's products sooner.

    We've had very few technical or service related issues but support has always been able to help us out when we have.

    Easy installation and catches everything

    Overall Comment

    After a major miss by Symantec, we were able to install and clean up the items that Symantec was missing. Installation was snap.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    The value\cost should be the selling point to you. There are no servers to manage, maintain or replace. No dedicated person to manage an AV server. Installs easily with the tools they provide, and the dashboard could be managed by a novice even.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    The simple interface and dashboard.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Custimzation of the web console is not an option.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    I wish the reports could be custimized.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    I would have never installed symantec. I would have just used Webroot from day one.

    Mostly automatic except for our in-house software, which we made exceptions for easily through the Web Portal

    Suport tickets are handled through the web portal or by phone. Always has been professional and exceeded expectation.

    Integration & Deployment - Overall comment

    Besides after sales support to help with the initial install... the install with the provided tools makes the deployment a snap.

    Fast Implementation, Needs Better Remote Desktop Support

    Works quickly to make sure my needs are met.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Use a different piece of software if RDS servers need to be protected. There is a technical issue still with Webroot's SecureAnywhere and RDS servers.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    A single web console for all of my machines.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    No alerts when a device is not seen for a certain period of time.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Provided support for RDS.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Ensure that the functionality for Remote Desktop Servers exists.

    I have had phenomenal support on the issues that have come up. This software has saved a lot of time on my end, as I don't get near as many viruses as before.

    Non-obtrusive Lightweight A/V that is easy to use.

    The software has a very small footprint, easy to install, it's very non-obtrusive and has a lot of features that you can set. The cloud-based solution was one of the main reasons I went with Webroot, I wanted to get rid of an entire server dedicated to A/V.

    The deployment could use a little work

    The ease of use

    The renewal process

    Renewal process is a pain

    Not much we are very happy with Webroot - going on our 5th year

    Easy implementation, very small footprint, fast scans. Great product! 6+ year user.

    Older implementations worked well. We had mostly old Windows XP machines and some Windows 98 when we started. Then as Webroot versions progressed, the 98's dropped out of compatibility. We no longer have them in use now. As Webroot, the program progressed to the current style (very minimal install, reputation based in the cloud) deployment and management has become even easier. Customer service/support is great. We have not had but one major issue since implementation over 6 years ago. And to its credit, Webroot properly identified the threat, but an IT individual inadvertently ran the attached executable, infecting large portions of the network - but I do not consider that Webroot's fault.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Get this stuff as quick as possible - honestly - that's how much I trust it.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Fast and reliable.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    As with anything, I could use it being cheaper - however, it is fairly cheap per machine anyway.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Nothing.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Really nothing. We found this product as soon as it started registering on comparison tests to other software and really shined.

    Lightweight Client, Heavyweight Protection.

    Overall Comment

    The client is extremely lightweight yet provides outstanding protection. Because of the small endpoint client, deployment is exceptionally easy. The web based management console is well laid out and easy to navigate.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Other products might provide equivalent protection, but none can do so as easily as webroot.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Great product, excellent price, great customer support

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Higher level of false positives than other products I've used, but not enough that it's been any sort of problem

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    It would be great if they could integrate an IDS capability into the product, but that's more of a "wishlist" item

    Super strong next generation security while being lightweight on the system

    This is a revolutionary product fully in the cloud, therefore giving more security. Also being faster. Installation time is like 6 seconds against 10-20 minutes with other vendors. It just runs very smooth! Whitelisting ability so our tools don't get blocked.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Start with 100 licenses, this will give the GSM console. With that, you can whitelist or blacklist things for ALL of your customers at once.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Fully cloud-based, very fast installation (6 seconds). Fully manageable via the console.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    No password safe in the MSP version

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Not sure, nothing comes to my mind right now.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    We should have started earlier with WebRoot! After years and years of seeing one after the other security product, I fell off my chair by seeing the capabilities of WebRoot.

    AV that works without stopping you from working.

    Overall Comment

    Has a very high detection rate. Plays well with all of our software. Installation is very quick and easy. The few times I've needed it, support is responsive.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Initial pricing can be higher than competitors but its worth the money.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Almost no footprint on the endpoint. The control panel has some very powerful tools. High detection rate.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Captcha! Not a very good secondary cleaner.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Get rid of the captcha requirement to make local setting changes. There are more efficient ways to keep people from changing the settings locally which you already have in your tool set. Having to bypass two barriers to troubleshoot an issue locally slows people down.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Implement Webroot earlier. Seriously this is such an upgrade from Vipre, Sophos, and ESET that I wonder how we got things done before the move over.

    Overall the best AV product for a Managed IT Service Provider that I have worked with. The other products I have worked with in this setting are ESET, AVG, Sophos, McAfee, Trend and Vipre.

    Don't usally need support, but when you do they are very responsive and follow up on making sure the root cause of the issue is resolved.
