We loved the interface and look/feel of the product but it turned out to be a real dud for our company in terms of performance. We had multiple large scale infections while using this product and the support received from the vendor in removing these infections was minimal and poor.

Getting webroot up and running for our mobile, VDI and virtual server environments was an absolute breeze. The level of visibility we now have from a virus detection and management standpoint exceeds what we had with our previous product. The lightweight and easy to deploy agent has made AV compliance simple.

Cloud-based console is easy to manage.

The product has worked perfectly but Webroot does not do a good job sharing newer features, potential changes to strategies or potential gotcha's implementing upgrades.

I choose Webroot SecureAnywhere based on my testing and leading industry reviews of its detection rates and minimal impact to the system. I've had the chance to work with support on several support cases and while they are very responsive, solutions given to me are relatively generic and come in the form of reinstalling the product or force updating components of our existing software stack instead of any changes on their part, or disabling features. There is minimal management for Mac systems, and no Linux support at all which is disappointing.

Support seems to be spotty at times. Sometimes they are really good, other times, slow. The product has some immaturity issues but overall is a good for the price.

The overall experience with Webroot Secure Anywhere has been positive. We found the product easy to implement and it met our needs as a small company. The Backup and Sync feature is nice and support is very responsive. We do not use the Pasword Manager feature as we have another service for that. One issue which we have had which is very minor is that sometimes, for the work which we do, we need to edit the hosts file. Webroot locks this file and we can understand why, however, in order it took us a while to figure out what was locking the file. There is an easy setting under "Shield" > "Prevent any program from modifying the HOSTs file" so that fit our needs. We had previous issues in the past with false positive on our software executables and we have no issue with Webroot. There is a scan report feature and so far there have been no malicious files detected. We've used other software to verify this so we feel very confident in Webroot's ability to find and remove malicious files.

This has been easy to deploy and maintain. I setup webroot in our computer image and it is automatically deployed with each new computer. Updates happen automatically and i rarely have to login to check scanning status.

I have not seen any other product before that has such a small demand on system resources and still provides top notch protection

We are very happy about the product itself. It's runs light, non-intrusive and securely. It's very easy to manage (from anywhere) using the cloud portal and the rollout and total implementation went smoothly. Since the implementation of Webroot we practically have zero user complaints about performance drops or applications being blocked. About our experiences with their service: We had a serious technical issue with the product but we are very pleased how Webroot handled the resolvement of the issue. Our problem was taken seriously right from the beginning. Webroot quickly offered a workaround and shortly after that a permanent solution. I recommend that keep doing what they are doing.
