    Integrated Product, Succesful Roll-out with all milestones achieved on-time

    Implementation with Ramco is a Good Experience, difficulties are there during Data Migration and Finance Integration. Ramco Consultants are professional and patient, we worked as Partner and solved all issues along the way.

    To work with Vendor as a Team

    Flexibility with user defined fields & set options Strong Functionality covering most of our business needs

    Will spend more time on Solution Definition and get more detailed requirement from End-User

    Succesful Implementation, Legacy System got completely replaced by Ramco Solution

    Detailed Solution Definition involving All departments and covering the whole business process; Accurate Data Migration, with all the validation provided, although taking some time but most of the junk data from legacy got cleaned off; Comprehensive User Training; Efficient Cut-over & Post-live Support.

    Process Control is good, connectivity between departments (functions) is good

    More Training + More Scenarios for Training

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    1. Would involve more manpower in Data Migration, better to have time for one more round Data Validation before Migrate to the New System. 2. Would involve more user for the Training Session, let them got familiar with the system before go-live to avoid wrong entry and other operational mistakes 3. Would start the Integration Testing earlier to shorten the parallel period

    The Product is good, the deliveries can be improved.

    It's a good system. Your company need a dedicated support team /help desk to overcome/rectify any issue arising to ensure smooth operations.

    Complete suites integrating all department operations.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    It's too rigid for some transaction.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    To improve the training to the Subject Matter Expert before the implementation.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    1. Subject Matters Expert (SME) need to fully understand the system process flow before implementing in the company. 2. A Full-time dedicated team is a MUST. 3. SME need to be picked from among the best from each section.

    The shortest implementation against complex odds

    Overall Comment

    A good relationship with vendor resulting quality deliverable on time, the experience consultants were able to understand complex business requirements and provide solutions to the best of business benefits. Niche project management from a vendor is very highly appreciated. The product is technically sophisticated and scalable enough meeting the business growth. The post goes live support is praiseworthy and we wish to have more services from the vendor in future.

    Work together as "PARTNERS"

    The product delivered an integrated processes and ability to integrate with another system.

    Change management should be started as early as possible before the project start. Data migration activity must be treated as the major milestone and with set of people freed from the operational activity( dedicated data management team)

    Initial phase of the project was easier subsequently DM and end user training was tough.

    Several legacy systems were replaced with RAMCO application over a period of 1 year.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Data cleansing needs to be thoroughly carried out, end user training and simulation should be carried out strictly and no short cuts.

    Implementation was quick regarding project complexity. Now going forward with BI App.

    Vendor Support during and after implementation is active and efficient, customer oriented. The application is always evolving with new features and new technologies. The Application as all advanced functionalities for demanding operator. The aspect that can be improved is the stability of the product against the fast-moving forward versions.

    Take time on data collection and transfer.

    Support following system is very efficient

    All new requirements exposed to the vendor should be adressed faster and cheaper.

    Better and cheaper answer to all new requirements exposed to the vendor.

    Insist on training : longer and more mainstreamed

    Application is ready to use and having the required functionalities. But the readiness of users and data could have been improved to exploit the benefits.

    Consider the 3 points mentioned in lesson learned above

    1. Functionalities covering the Airlines / MRO business processes 2. Automated processes of PO creations 3. Able to manage PBH & Consignment parts 4. Compared to legacy system, almost all processes are in system

    1. In case user enter incorrect data then there should be provision to correct it. 2. System should restrict user from entering the incorrect data entry.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Data extraction and cleansing from legacy system could have been done with 3rd party

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    1. Data migration could have considered the cleansed and correct data 2. End user training could have involved across all levels in the organization 3. infrastructure could have been verified to support the system

    Implementation was quite smooth but suggest to manage the data migration very cautiously.

    We have work with RAMCO systems to implement the MRO ERP solution. They started with overall business study followed by solution definition discussion to understand business requirement. Subsequently huge data migration and rolled out.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    If you are able to manage your data extraction from legacy system and do the cleansing correctly than most of your data issues post go live will be under control.

    1. RAMCO funtionallites covers the requirement of Airlines/MRO businesses. 2. Able to integrate with SAP and AeroXchange. 3. Able to manage Customer Stock and PBH. 4. Data can be extracted in Excel

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Business user should be authorise to generate my own simple report.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    RAMCO could have reviewed our existing data and sensitized on the criticality of issues could be faced during the migration.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    1. Data verification and cleansing should be done by professionals before handing over to RAMCO. 2.Frequent audit during the implementation process would help. 3. More time is required for training.

    RAMCO completely understood our program requirements and presented a tailored solution.

    Overall Comment

    Good smooth introduction to our business unit, professional support right through definition solution and go live. A site presence after go-live would have been an advantage to ensure better understanding of functionality.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Apply maximum effort in data template construction to ensure correct and a successful data upload.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    The resonable simplicity of the user interface and the great people that support RAMCO.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    There are a few small things that have made things difficult for us but these are mostly problems that have occured through our own lack of understanding. An area that RAMCO could improve is the delivery of training - make it more integrated across all parts of the system.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Provide a more system integrated training solution. Teach us how the system operates across all modules as a complete process.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Invest in a RAMCO onsite represenative for a six month period after go-live.
