    Implementation is easy if new install, migration from legacy is complicated

    use of services from Centrify produces inconsistant statagies based upon the arch assigned

    Work closely with Centrify to develop a deployment statagy and design.

    ease of use, good support model

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    lack of consistancy with arch/eng staff

    Consistant delivery recommendations

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Take more time to do clean up prior to migration to new version

    Although nothing is as easy as it looks, this wasn't bad.

    Vendor was a true partner, willing to share in the risks as well as the rewards.

    Go for it.

    It performs as advertised.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Training. Getting people to understand the value and significance.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    They have been terrific, engaged and supportive.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Would have hired more third party support to accellerate the implementation.

    No real service issues, ever. Support is terrific.

    Unix access administration made easy, enabler for new security controls.

    Overall Comment

    Very Positive, it took several years to complete the transition but since completion speaking to audit about Unix Access has been a breeze. We also used it to add new on the fly access grants and removals.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Easy to work with, customer support usually helps dig into problems quickly. Built from the ground up, they don't use acquired products.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Integration with some other products like Cyber-Ark is limited.

    Usually you can get someone that knows the product well enough to speak to.

    Easy to Deploy and Feature Rich.

    Overall Comment

    We first decided to use the Centrify IaaS solution to replace ADFS for the federation functionality with Office 365. This solution gave us better control, security, and functionality than ADFS. The installation went quickly and easily an the technical support far exceeded our expectations. We were later able to leverage Centrify for replacing SecureAuth for SAML and MFA; we were also able to use Centrify to replace our MDM solutions (BES, Good, and AirWatch) with greater user satisfaction and user acceptance. All of these additional functions added no additional expense.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Centrify is constantly improving their offerings with new features being rolled out monthly. Their core services are solid and their technical support goes above and beyond. They are also very proactive with their communications and seem to always be open to new ideas and suggestions.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    I really haven't found anything to dislike. It would be nice if Centrify offered a certification for technical professionals that have become profficient with their software.

    Product capabilities - overall comment

    The basic functionality of federating our environment with Office 365 for SSO is all we were looking for, but we ended up replacing our MFA, SAML, MDM, and user application portal solutions with Centrify for no additional cost.

    Service & support - overall comment

    I have been an IT professional focusing on enterprise environments for over 22 years, and Centrify has the absolute best support team I have ever encountered. I can't say enough about the support they provide.

    Integration & Deployment - Overall comment

    It took nearly two weeks to fully deploy ADFS and work out all the issues, but it took about 20 minutes to deploy Centrify and gain basic functionality, and then another two days to work out issues specific to our environment.

    A solution that can simplify if allowed to

    The tool itself has met our needs but isn't something that should be implemented quickly. A review of the environment needs to be done to understand and possibly simplify. It integrates well with active directory.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    It has simplified a lot of our user management.

    It is a stronger solution on Linux then AIX, but the challenge is more from an OS perspective than the application.

    Service & support - overall comment

    We had to discuss with our sales team that sending the manual was not an acceptable response to a ticket. Had the support improved they would have been a good partner on problem resolution.

    Integration & Deployment - Overall comment

    The integration assistance we received was outsourced and was a challenge. Centrify did its best to help us smooth out the rough edges. While we met our deadline it was painful to accomplish.
