Very satisfied with the vendor. Deployment took only a few hours to set up. Support is great. Does a great job in managing mobile devices, not so good for the laptops (especially section where you can push security patches to the laptops). Wish it was an option to push the update of Maas360 applications to the users, for now still have to rely on users doing it on their own.

Overall our experience has been positive. The rollout has been somewhat cumbersom due to having so many employees out in the field as we have to physically touch all of the devices to remove our previous asset management tool and then install Maas360, but that is the nature of something like this. Support has been generally helpful and we have been able to set up our profiles as needed for our various devices.

The support from Maas360 has been very good overall. They were the only platform that allowed us to track cellular data usage and set up staggered warnings at 70, 80, 90% of an established month allowance that get emailed to both the end user as well as IT staff. This has help decrease overage charges from our cellular carrier. Also very easy to use to assist end users in locating lost/missing devices.

Account manager works in the same physical space as support engineers and is able to get engineers engaged immediately to resolve issues and answer questions. Because of this, the overall experience is excellent.

In my opinion, IBM MaaS360 is a solid EMM. It does everything we need from a device protection standpoint. A few functionalities are lacking, such as Tasks, but overall it's a nice product suite. IBM and Sirus (3rd Party) were both great to work with.

My organization is very happy with this overall Mobile Device Management solution. Implementation of the Maas360 product required some direct contact with the vendor in order to make sure eveything was configured and functioning as we expected, but once set up, no further support has been warranted. The Maas360 product is easy to manage and allows us the ability to easily add and remove users. In the event that a user loses their device or is terminated from the company, we have the ability to easily disconnect their access to corporate email, as opposed to wiping their entire device and the user losing all of their personal information in the process. Maas360 also allows us the ability to control the apps are are allowed to be installed on mobile devices. When you first log into the Maas360 portal, you are taken to the dashboard which contains various, customizable alerts, including devices with missing policies, devices that are jailbroken or rooted, devices with no passcodes, etc. From the dashbard you can also view the total number of users on the system, as well as the number of active devices on the system. This is a great feature in order to quickly determine when you are nearing your licensing capacity.There is also a robust reporting tool in the Maas360 portal that provides a complete Mobile Device Overview, including the Platform and Versions used by the various devices on your network, the managed status, a breakdown of Employee owned and corporate owned devices, and new Devices by Month. Under the "Security" tab in the dashboard is trhe ability to customize the various policy options you wish to implement, such as the enforcing of encryption and passcode policies. You can also set up individual policies for iOS, Android and Windows Phones.

The integration with our existing helpdesk suite was the overall driving factor with our adoption of MaaS360. Being a cloud-based service with no onsite overhead adds to that benefit as well. The only downside was the implementation. We went through the implementation with very little involvement from IBM. That being said, we did not pursue much from them in terms of support, so I cannot place that blame on them. It just took longer than I would have liked, mainly due to the fact that we did not start to outline what we wanted our Mobile Device Policy to look like and how we wanted it to function until after we purchased the software. On their end, it would have been nice to see someone monitor our implementation progress and help us to speed things along. Since the implementation, the service and support have been top notch.
