    Frankly the best FP&A product on the market.

    Overall Comment

    From the very beginning, we were pleased with Adaptive Insights. They worked with us to give us excellent training and the implementation was smooth although we did put in many hours of work. The final outcome is we got exactly what we wanted plus found new ways to use Adaptive to improve our business. We have used Adaptive to test new ideas, plan & forecast and as a flexible analysis tool

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Talk to Adaptive about your organization. What are your 3-4 top FP&A issues and listen to what they say. As a team you will get the right solution from Adaptive.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Clearly it's flexibility and adaptability within our organization. Our staff love it and use it without fear.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    I truly cannot think of a single thing I do not like. Clearly the best FP&A product and maybe one of the easiest to use

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    They did a great job but I suppose I wish they had pushed us more on where we wanted to go down the road

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Although we eventually found ways to involve more staff in the model I truly wish we had done that earlier. The more involved our staff is at all levels the better the value of Adaptive. We started to use this as a "What If" tool several years after we started but would like to have done that from the start.

    Exceptional business planning and analytics tool.

    Overall Comment

    Adaptive Insights' cloud-based planning, reporting, and analytics tool is outstanding. The product set is feature-rich while at the same time being quite accessible, enabling fast (and robust) implementations. Planning (and re-planning) is powerful yet streamlined, enabling the user to conduct sophisticated "what-if" scenarios using multiple data sets. The customer care/service team at Adaptive is world-class. They are always available, provide consistent service on modeling topics, and are a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend and endorse Adaptive for any company; my only regret is that I didn't use them earlier.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Dedicate enough time and commitment to the tool, and you will be amazed at its capabilities.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    I've used many different planning and reporting platforms throughout my career, but this cloud-based tools is on the top of my list. Comprehensive feature set, robust reporting capabilities make this tool my "go to" on a daily basis.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    The overall number of formulas in your model can be quite large, so managing those can be a bit cumbersome.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Adaptive is excellent at the implementation, providing training, "tips and tricks" etc., but to further streamline implementation, it would also be helpful to have options or examples about how other companies set up their structure. Since this was my first time implementing my "own" planning and reporting systems, I had to make decisions on certain topics that I wasn't quite prepared for. Clearly not Adaptive's issue, but again, would be helpful for them to have an on-going "checklist" of things to be aware of during the implementation phase.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Started the entire vendor selection process earlier, as the implementation time took a bit (literally, a few weeks) longer to complete than thought, but it would have been nice to step back and build my own confidence around the tool. Regardless, Adaptive made the decision easy, and was quite good to work with throughout the entire process. Invested more in training the users more thoroughly. With the help of Adaptive, the training was very good. Anytime a new tool is introduced, it requires attention and diligence to ensure the (new) concepts and principles are understood and can be executed across the end-user community.

    As mentioned in other questions, this is a world-class planning and reporting tool. Completely flexible in terms of the amount of detail you'd like to have in your planning model. Reports are easy to generate, and my end-users rave about the feature set.

    Service & support - overall comment

    Outstanding customer support. Consistent service from multiple service reps. On-line support tools are also excellent, and provide a wealth of (helpful) information.

    Integration & Deployment - Overall comment

    Implementation lead was excellent and very responsive to my needed changes based on how things looked at any given time (that's also a testament to how flexible Adaptive really is).
