The tool is great and once you get the information in the way you want it, the reports you can make and speed are great. They are always willing to create new functions that we think of.
The more work you put in the front end of implementation for preparation, the smoother the project will go.

The CXO team always goes above and beyond for their customers. We have only had a good experience in working with the team. They produce a great product in a very short time frame. The tool itself is very user-friendly and users with a variety of different backgrounds are able to learn and use the tool in a very short time frame.
Go in with a plan of how you would use this product, who would use, who will build/maintain it. Starting with that will make the implementation, adoption, and growth of the tool will be that much easier.

Sometimes it can be tough getting timely help with an issue since most folks on the team are in a different time zone but, honestly, they have worked hard to address this by working late hours when necessary and adding team members closer to our time zone.

Perhaps set up more connections to other data sources in the original implementation? Also, we implemented on one version and learned the report design on an older version and the newer version was released not too long after our implementation. That made it a bit tough for our report designers to learn to use the new user interface while still trying to understand how to operate in the product. So maybe we could have delayed the implementation a bit so we implemented the new version and trained the report designers on that version. However, they are caught up now so it was only a concern for a period of time. There was not more that could be improved as it was a fast and easy process.
CXO is a great tool with an easy implementation. We are adopting it quickly and it is becoming a part of our daily operations as a Finance organization. The capabilities and reports are easy to build and maintain and provide a large amount of templates for creating

CXO has their processes, installations and integrations streamlined and makes the implementations quick and painless.

I appreciate their focus to see things from the perspective of the finance business user. They are very eager for feedback and responsive to needs and desires.
Prepare the potential users for the change and get significant input so that you are clearly providing them with something of value even if it is quite different than how they are use to doing things.
It is pretty easy to use and develop. Even though some of the more complex functions involve a new language (MDX) it was still something to grasp rather quickly and keep things moving. Their support are also good resources for some things that we couldn't figure out on our own.
There are some options I would like see for presentation of numbers in reports and for exporting. As I mentioned previously, they are very receptive to feature requests and have already implemented or planned to implement several gaps identified.
In our case I think the vendor did all they could to help us with our implementation. The only minor struggle we encoutered was time zone differences working with support in Europe. They were flexible and generally avaialble when needed. I'm happy to see them take the steps to improve their support ability further with their recent focus in US expansion and growth
It's important to have a clear time line for implemtation and use. It's like pulling the band-aid off. We failed to set a hard date for when we would move over to exclusive use which delayed full use.
CXO appears to be focused on ensuring that all the features and capabilities that have a global benefit will be implemented to ensure the product lacks nothing essential.
The support team is very responsive to issues and questions.
