SAS GRID installation is not a trivial task. However, the SAS team did an excellent job of analyzing our use case and fine tuning the installation and solution to fit our needs of scoring tests.
While we implemented the GRID solution as recommended and having used the software for a number of years now, I think we might have planned the SAS products a little differently.
With the help of the SAS architects we heavily customized the solution.
