The Help Desk phone number is hard to get through but once I get someone to answer the phone, the support is great.

Excellent customer service throughout the 11 years of working with them. While previous versions experienced various issues especially concerning performance, version 9.0.2 is much faster and no complaints received.

Interface is quite "clunky" and non-ituative. This is ok for IT professional but not ideal for non technical / business users. The tool itself is very powerful with the right amount on configuration.

As a cloud provider, we use the product wide but not deep. Meaning, we use it for managing a lot of our customer environments but do not do much customized identitity management within those customers. The product works well, has good documentation, and support staff is very helpful and responsive.

The implementation was difficult due to the nature of implementating a new technology to manage identities and the expectations of Hitachi-ID professional services.

Big selling point to our management was a fixed cost implementation. Installation was done by vendor remotely while I watched via NetMeeting. Although it would have maybe been better to have them on-site, this allowed me front seat view of what was being done and provided me ability to screen shot action as it occurred. I didn't like it at first but found that I learned more this way. Custom code development was made by vendor as part of implementation costs. Once again remote but allowed me, our Provisioning agent(s), and vendor to all see first hand the steps the NetMeeting 'screen driver' was making (showing our existing system processes and what the vendor was proposing), allowing for screen shots, and good interactive discussion. Later on after development, we got to NetMeeting issues after testing time to refine any necessary changes. Vendor did come on-site two times when determined it was actually necessary which was directly paid for by my company. This was part of the upfront agreement to keep the implementation costs down. This also worked well since additional travel costs / fees where initiated from our side, not the vendors.

Product works as expected but customization isn't easy. Services are not dedicated to you during the deployment so takes longer than needed.

Solution was customizable to meet our needs, but customization was slow and expensive.
