    discuss the plan with multiple vendor and select top 2 for POC.

    support.

    It is important to ensure that business requirements are met and support of the product is easy.

    Good tool but limited online support or notes available.

    Overall Comment

    We had difficulty engaging the vendor during hypercare, but now that our 3rd party partner is out of the picture a direct line of communication is available. This has enhanced our relationship.

    Understand your FULL scope.

    Ease of use.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    limited on-going support documentation.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    I wish the vendor had a forum or user community that users could collaborate and share pain points and/or success stories.

    Engage Vendor directly during all phases of the project.

    Implementation was smooth, need to implement and purchase more apps.

    Working with both the vendor and a 3rd party vendor caused some confusion, but has worked out as we have gone live and anticipate then next phase.

    Very user-friendly just ensure you have the right people engaged on both sides.

    User friendly and ease of use of the application.

    Not given all the information up front.

    Was more readily attainable and didn't have to go over their heads.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Communicate constantly and anticipate late issues arising.

    Implementation easy from a Vendor standpoint. No delays.

    Overall Comment

    Good customer service. Willing to meet goals and assist where needed. Very experienced and fast to respond. Willing to help out in situations.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Meet with other Agencies/Companies to learn what they did and their pitfalls. Based on their feedback tailor to what you need. It's a very broad tool, but not very deep.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    The full overview and compatibility it provides. It's customizable with no need for outside involvement. Easy to run in-house without additional staff.

    RSA support was very thorough and accommodating throughout application implementation.

    Overall Comment

    Whenver we had any concerns or issues during implementation, problems were escalated quickly to help resolve the matter in a timely manner.

    Ensure all business needs and application owner requirements are taken into consideration prior to implementing.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Ease of use, which has been made apparent by user acceptance and feedback we have recieved from managers upon completing reviews.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    It would be helpful to have a thorough description of included items within the service agreement for the implementation plan would be helpful to ensure all terms are understood.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    We would likely have spent additional time gathering requirements for our initial use cases.

    A lot of bugs. SOD has never worked. Role reviews are extremely difficult.

    We had several issues. We are still working through specific SOD issues and have continuous issues with feeds, collections and database issues.

    Have the vendor do the installation and recommend onboarding tactics and direct SOD.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Audit capabilities.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    SOD.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Have side by side implementation with RSA tech leads.

    Overall, it does what it is supposed to, except for role reviews, SOD and reporting.

    We currently have a case open for an ongoing SOD issue that has yet to be resolved and we are at risk of deficiencies.

    Integration & Deployment - Overall comment

    There is room for improvement. SOD is a huge pain point and role reviews are not user friendly and are extremely difficult to set up. Better metrics are needed.

    Simple with configurations, but limited with limited customizations.

    Overall Comment

    The RSA via product is configuration based and very user friendly. The overall functionality that it provides is very limited. It covers the basics such as access request approvals, along with reports and recertifications. But when it comes to customization, it is very limited. This tool is more for companies that are focused on a quick roll-out without many different processes in place.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Understand and do as much analysis as possible from all the key players, business owners, and IT teams. Research the functionality and all the use cases for your environment.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    The product itself is very user friendly, and easy to navigate through.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    The limited customizations, the need for limited standardized processing.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    More various use case testing. With our specific roll-out, we've come up with various scenarios that cannot be covered.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    More research up front on different processes, more buy-in from stakeholders, better planning of roadmap and roll-out.

    This covers user access reviews, access request approvals, and reporting features.

    Service & support - overall comment

    RSA Support is very slow in responding and helping close out support issues. We've had several requests and follow-ups, but nothing has changed.

    Implementing RSA Aveksa is pretty easy, it is all configuration based.

    More recent versions under RSA guidance and vision are strong and getting stronger.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Allow time to gain momentum. Ensure that the initiatives are well thought out and expectations are set corretly. Stay 1 minor revision behind unless absolutley necessary.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Offers the freedom and flexibility to do just about anythig you want. If you have the technical expertise, the product offers extensive capabilities.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Drive it as the creation of an IAM program with the first success milestone around Governance.
