    UMT360 is flexible and easy to work with both as an application and vendor!

    Overall Comment

    UMT360 Portfolio Financial module (add-on to MS Project Server) is a great tool that servers our needs in getting more cost/benefit tracking and change control, it integrates with project server so that we didn't have to start from scratch with our existing investment and processes. UMT360 is very easy to work with, extremely responsive and flexible to get the job done, work together on solutions that fit our needs and remove any road blocks. I highly recommend them as a partner/vendor.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Understand your own issues and needs and desired future state as much as possible.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Easy to configure.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Integration with MS project server can use some improvements and some configuration interface. Could come with more built-in reporting functions.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    More performance test.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Laid out scope requirement and cost upfront so everyone on the same page and no surprises down the road.

    UMT has done this so many times, we were surprised how far they were able to take it.

    Overall Comment

    UMT was able to come in and streamline our PMO processes with only few interviews. They have deployed their tools and taken our Project Server to the next level of maturity - deployed workflows, streamlined our reporting, data collection and helped us out with setting up a better project pipeline, and set up our resource capacity management as well.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    It's a long process to go up PMO process maturity, plan on working through several iterations and initiatives - the benefits will be realized.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Speed of delivery, immediate ability to use it for PMO.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    I wish they would productize some more of the offering - more fun to start off with a license for a product rather than consulting. Based on the speed of their implementation, I'm sure they've done it many times. Only one thing we had to slow them down with was our change control process, and some documentation.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    We learned we still have a long way to go - especially with Project Portfolio management. There are so many other maturity areas we can work on with UMT. It seems that Portfolio Management can be done in a relatively short time with an executive buy-in.

    Well integrated into SharePoint/Project and the experience for our users is seamless.

    Discuss your design and solution fully and what add-ons are needed to meet the design in order to ensure that the implementation plan meets the design.

    It is robust and intuitive.

    Add-ons required to achieve full use of the solution.

    Ensure that assigned resources are the right fit for the role.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Ensure that we better understand what add-ons are needed to get the full experience.
