From the start of the sales process to the completion of systems integration, SimpliVity was amazing to work with. Communication was excellent throughout, with clearly answered questions and well-reasoned explanations on technology differences as contrasted to competitor products. Technical expertise abounding, I found the depth of responses to probing inquiries top notch. Cross-platform proficiencies created a seamless installation and migration process to new from old.

Integration to existing network Implementation was simple, well documented and very well supported. Since going live we have continued to be amazed by the technology and regarding the very small incidents we have had the support from these guys has been top class.

System was easy to implement and performance of new system is great

The product has certainly delivered as expected. We have recently consolidated physical and virtual machines that were running in a remote data center back to our central headquarters. Virtual servers moved (VMware vMotion). Physical servers restored onto virtual (P2V migration). 100% of server resources now running on the hyper converged platform at headquarters.

Our overall experience was excellent. Simplivity lived up to all of our expectations in terms of ease of implementation and performance.

While learning about Hyper-convergence, one question always came to mind... How do they handle the IOPS? In our pre-Simplivity world, we kept spending money or shelves of NetApp disk, adding spindles, to keep up with iOPS and transactions. Painfully expensive. One vendor, Simplivity, took a different approach. Why not eliminate IOPS? We did not believe them, or their story. I had at least 4 deep-dive engineering level pre-sales discussions, and I spoke with early adopters who SWORE by this solution. We tested in their labs with a variety of our actual workloads and the evidence was clear. 70%, or more IOPS reduction. (I don' know if that's typical for all, but it was for us). We installed a 4x4 solution initially, and once we began migrating production workload to it, we added two more with remaining CapEx I was able to save from not buying NetApp drawers this year. So we have a 5x5, and it can probably fit just about all of our environment. Performance has INCREASED. Servers boot in SECONDS. We back up 32 TB an hour and 760 TB a day! We are currently doing backups every 15 minutes and replicating (tiny changes) to our CoLo-DC. We are currently storing 1650 TB of data on ~17 TB of physical disk storage. These are BUSY SQL boxes, a file server that archives PDFs and scanned paperwork with more than 30 million files, VoIP environment, and eCommerce platform. This is a busy workload that was running on a lot more, especially disk. Buying Simplivity has made our jobs easier (I decided not to hire a head in 2017 for Infrastructure, and use that elsewhere), and I have committed to retiring NetApp by Q3, 2018. Probably savings of ~$800k OpEx over the next 36-40 months in lease and support payments.

HCI and in particular with SimpliVity is less complex then any converged- and / or legacy-Hardware. We could add the most value in deploying SimpliVity HCI across multiple sites.

The Simplivity purchase was one of the best I have ever made. We are still discovering ways that the product is saving us money and to finally get of the hamster wheel of upgrades and expansion are over. The backup and DR capabilities are really unmatched in the industry and was a perfect solution to a multitude of problems we were experiencing. Pain points such as lengthy backups, no true disaster recover solution, and a multiple management tools all now a thing of the past. The upgrade process was completely painless and the support has been above and beyond. I truly feel that the support team has skin in the game. The product is truly a game changer.

Great vender to work with, assisted in a to z implementation project. Very informative and willing to gude for best practice implementation. Once the infrastructure was in place the migration became very easy to move existing VMs from another infracstructure to this system. Creating new VMs to migrate physical servers is a snap.

We worked with a third party. CyberNorth, along with Simplivity. Both have been great to wrok with every step of the way.
