Specifically we are using Red Hat SSO. It wasn't listed.
Consider it strongly. There is an open source alternative called Keycloak if required.
Seemingly small development team.
More frequent updates.
Look at more alternatives.

Main strategic driver was related to the "avoid vendor lock-in approach" enabled by this solution. Since the entire Fuse solution is built on the CAMEL open-source project, we have been able to maximize two key factors: engage expert partner&vendor to receive product maitenance and support services (at limited cost) but, at the sametime, keeping an "exit strategy" which is vendor-indipendent.
Fully compliancy and compatibility with the open-source version of the project (CAMEL)
I would apply this approach to other product areas as well.

The product is good, but we were not happy about the services for the POC implementation. The consultant knowledge of the product was poor.
Very good product
Complexity of distributed topology setup
Provide us with more experienced consultant
Difficult to say. We contacted the vendor to have the best human skills, but disappointed. How to do better?

Overall we are very satisfied with the product.
Evaluate solution alternatives to ensure the vendor / solution you select alligns with your requirements.
Cost; this is a relatively cost effective solution. Granted it does not have all the bells that some of the other sulotions offer.
Lack of add-on production and governance components.
