The IT process automation (ITPA) tool market is composed of solutions that automate IT processes (with increasing cross-functional organizational requirements) to improve operational efficiency, mitigate operational risk, reduce costs, offset the negative effects of complexity and improve standards enforcement. ITPA tools function primarily at the IT services level. They coordinate the execution of work, sequence the timing of subordinate workflow and scripts, and orchestrate the delivery of multiple tasks and services across different IT groups and models.

OpCon has been absolutely pivotal in automating almost any task we throw at it. It's ability create complex workflows and ability to reliably perform detailed tasks created a very large amount of time for our IT staff to perform other work. We have heavily leveraged it's ability to call batch scripts, access SFTP, monitor email accounts and perform specific actions based on a filtering of incoming emails to trigger events, fire SQL stored procedures, and automate the movement of files from one share to another. This is only a small list of the things that OpCon allows us to do, all unattended, on a reoccurring schedule of our choosing. As you can imagine, with a solution this capable, it can become quite confusing, and OpCon's support department is excellent in helping you implement your dream automation scenarios. If you can think it up, they will help try and find a way to make it happen. We have often requested additional functionality and, found it implemented only a few development cycles later. We also leverage their seamless ability to integrate into our core software platform, although due to the propriety of our vendor, they have few competitors in this area. That being said, OpCon performs more than admirably, and, is almost always not the cause of any issues that arise.
"ActiveBatch, our vehicle of progress to meet changing business needs and requirements."
We have been using ActiveBatch since version 8. The key characteristics for me about my experience are: 1. Reliability. We have a high availability environment that spans datacenters in different parts of the world. Daily we do about 40 000 executions and we are a team of 2 that are able to manage and support the system. 2. Ease of use. As part of a company transition process we had to downsize from Autosys. In evaluating several products, I found that this product's interface was the most intuitive. It's features provided the easiest method of transferring jobs to ActiveBatch. 3. Support. Over the years we only needed to escalate a handful of incidents and the response was always quick and professional. This is also an attestation of the level of reliability we experienced from the product. 4. Agility. My motto: "If it moves, then automate it, if it does not move then kick it until it moves...". ActiveBatch gave me the ability to do just that. If the question "Can ActiveBatch do ____?" comes along then I can always say without hesitation "Sure. When do you need it?"

The automation model is a great tool for creating a layout of the automation process and completed the details of the automation process. The ability to drag and drop new task or reuse already created task really help with the model setup. The main thing that hasn't worked well is the searching of the completed worksheets for anything other that the complete over status, Can not search each the worksheet for specific words in the action task included in the worksheets.
"Innovative Module, really helpful in integrating tools."
Orchestration module is so helpful in terms of integrating ServiceNow with third party tools.It gives the ability to have second-to-second update in servicenow from the other tool and vice-a-versa. These days,ServiceNow is not letting a single thing go from their hand, They are providing every possible plugin or every possible integration using API's . So it becomes really beneficial for IT firms to use the orchestration module and use it in any way possible according to their requirements.
"This product that needs more recognition."
I have been using this product for 3 years. Most of the automation in our bank can do with this tool. integration into our systems and agent deployment is quite easy. It is integrated into almost every third party software and it is in a central of other products in our bank. Support teams and documentation are pretty good.

Readyworks has been instrumental in the success of our Windows 10 migration project. As an information system it was able to integrate with all of our data sources and aggregate the data to provide insight into the state of our environment. As a communication tool it was able to automate the process of invitations and scheduling. As a reporting tool it enabled us to create custom dashboards that provided key metrics to our stakeholders. And the Readyworks team were all highly knowledgeable and able to guide us through the process of utilizing this resource.
"Laiye RPA-Intelligent and automated tool"
We started to investigate RPA in 2019 for sales operation management scenarios.After comparison,we finally choose Laiye RPA. In the initial stage,there were two RPA robots were used to export data from SAP and merge tables at the same time to generate multi-dimensional data management templates.In the two years since the RPA tool has been running,the amount of work which needed to export and merge data has been drastically reduced,and what used to take half a day per week can be completed in half an hour.
"Implementation, development and server maintenance is very hard, UI needs to be improved"
Most of the BMC products are acquired from Peregrine, this is also part of same acquisition. Most BMC applications run on ARS(Action Request System), this too run on ARS. This application is very unreliable, it was implemented for our two major customers and implementation done wit the help of BMC team but we used to face lot of issues with downtime. UI is not very good. It supports both Windows and Web client. Both the UIs are just very bad designed. They just kept all forms and fields on upper left corner of the screen. What is the purpose of having such a big screen to display. Forms browsing was not good. We have implemented it on server pool using 8 servers but still we saw lot of performance issues. BMC needs to work hard to keep their pace in market because whole market is changing to cloud and if you keep performance and UI like this, nobody going refer to customers.

It also works really well as an email marketing solution that gives us all the analysis required to know how well our campaigns are doing. We know the open, click and unsubscribe rates. With such information at our fingertips, we can make strategic adjustments to our marketing operations and improve customer retention, subsequently.

I have a great customer experience. They also asigned me a Customer Success Manager, so it is easier to accomplish my goals. Communicaton is fluent in English, and also with technicians when I have a very specific questions.
