    Implementation went well, custom report development should have been easier.

    Strong response to support issues. Could be much quicker in implementing promised new functionality.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Excellent PPM tool with a lot of flexability on customability.Start small and build out use of functionality.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Functionality and flexibilty. Support professionals are attentive.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Can be a little heavyweight and difficult to use especially for non-project managment background users.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Provided more guidance around use of tool with PPM best practices. Incorporate more process with tool implementation.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Increase measures to drive adoption.

    Great product, but vendor needs to get engaged with customers more

    Overall Comment

    Overall the product has been good for us. We are recently discovering much deeper features that we are starting to leverage. However, we feel that the aquisitions the product has gone through have left the vendor focusing more on themselves internally vs. adding features or engaging with us. We hope this is changing and we will see more value from them as a vendor.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Think through what you want to accomplish. If you need a smiple system to track individual products, this might be overkill. If you want to do pipline and resource management from a PMO perspective, put the time and effort in to implement it fully.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    The breadth of features can support a more complex environment. I like the reporting capabilities.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Lack of customer engagement from vendor. They also need to update their interface to make it more modern. Many things don't update as you go. You have to keep clicking the Save button to get updates. Makes it a bit clunky at times.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Engage more with customers

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Understand the product more deeply and how it can relate to and support us more holistically. The PMO started reporting to me about 6 months ago and I was thinking we would probably drop Daptiv and move to MS Project to save money and get a more focused solution. As I started asking questions, I discovered that Daptiv had a lot more to offer us to support what we are trying to achieve. We are now rolling out these new features and I am very excited about the product. I feel the vendor has been distracted and has not engaged with us over time to ensure we are getting the most out of their product.

    Giving this a higher rating than I would have 6 months ago due to recent improvements and an engagement we did with them to complete some initial custome reports. We were very pleased with the outcome.

    Changepoint is good for many PPM items areas, but caution on reporting and slowness

    Overall Comment

    Changepoint was good for overall enterprise project tracking , eventually resource manament, and roll up dashboard reporting. Beyong that, PM's did not like for Schedule Management, Issue/Risk/Change Management.

    Create evaluation criteria

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Enteprise roll ups.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Limited capabilities in PPM space, slowness of cloud solution, and slow development of upgrades

    Listen to PM and PMO teams more.

    Woudl pick another tool that works better for PM's

    Delivery can be done quickly, but spend time about melding current business processes.

    The vendor has very capable staff and capabilities to offer and when managed effectively they deliver excellent service and product.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Know your true goals to ensure you are able to achieve them.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    The staff at Changepoint have the customer’s best interest at heart and work to provide excellent customer service. (They are not always perfect)

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Their training materials are lacking.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Ensure "return" funding a few years to review the progress of the implementation.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    there would be differences within the internal organizational support structure. Nothing notable with Changepoint.

    Changepoint can do what you want, but do you really know what you want?

    Overall Comment

    As the ultimate application owner, I had significant challenges in dealing with the application, its capabilities, and the actual company of changepoint. We had significant performance issues out of the gate.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Don't involve Changepoint in the initial design of your processes; do it without them. If you involve them, they will steer you towards what is easiest for their application, which is not always a good match for your organization.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    The level of integration with Microsoft's suite is nice, but is a by-product of MS using the tool. This results in not as much internal expertise on the integrations as is valuable.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    The SaaS solution is slow and their product components built on MS Silverlight are unwieldy.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Deliver on promises made.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Don't just listen to the designers at Changepoint telling us what we should be doing and actual fit the processes rolled out to our organization and maturity. Ensure that the vendor is much more closely watched.

    Lots of functionality, but hard to implement and difficult to support.

    Overall, we have not been able to take advantage of all the features and functions due to the inflexibility of the product and amount of customization required to meet our business needs. If I had to do the selection over again, I would have chosen a simpler tool.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Ensure you have enough resources to manage the application effectively for your needs. Ensure that the hosting solution meets your needs. It is not a SaaS offering.

    Provided the necessary support required to make our deployment successful.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Build our requirements differently and most likely choose a different tool.

    integration into our SSO solution went reasonably well. Deployment is not a SaaS offering as we were led to believe.
