The OpenAir product is a strong tool that enables a professional services organization to move beyond excel and create a central time and expense, billing, invoicing, and project management system. The internal professional services team with NetSuite would only get a 2 rating, and if I do it again I would try and find a partner to execute and not use internal PS team.
Focus on what business process needs to be deployed first, and drive for the development of directed training and check lists. There are a lot of decisions to make so you need to make sure you have enough time allocated to review the configurations and impact.
Cloud based - so once it is up and running things are easy to access and use. The time reporting process is good, and project structure is simple to follow.
I use Tallie for expense reporting, so going back to the old model of expense reporting is really painful.
Selling a PSA tool, they should really work on building a professional services team. All things that took place happened only with a lot of escalations and frustration.
Find a 3rd party deployment partner.
