    complex product that can be difficult for general end users to navigate

    Develop a road map to avoid retrofits

    lack of documentation

    Great demo. Actually implementation of the tool is complex.

    Strong user community and iteration by RSA.

    Overall Comment

    Support and user community is very strong. RSA utilizes constant feedback from the user community to iterate and improve the product. Leverage built-in functionality to mature our manual processes.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Everyone from the three lines of defense need to buy-in and commit to using one GRC tool to provide a single plane of glass for risks and issues in the organization.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Alignment of assessments to regulatory and industry sources to support risk statements.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Due to the level of customization, upgrades tend to be a larger effort.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    The tool is so customizable, more templates based on industry (and regulatory scrutiny) would help to keep peers consistent in approach and reduce regulatory scrutiny within sectors when the regulators see the same types of templates.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    We have multiple GRC solutions across our different risk disciplines. Consolidating into one solution would have been better from the beginning.

    Consider competing tools and address top down what you want to accomplish.

    Better requirements, was too IT centric.

    Customer experience is not that great. Archer helpdesk is not able to resolve a lot of problems.

    Iron out SLA in contract over customer support.

    User community.

    Reporting.

    Better engagement with clients.

    Need good change control, faster deployment of the next version.

    RSA/Archer Professional Services Lacking.

    Product support was good but professional services for customization were substandard.

    Be very careful about the selection of professional service for product customization. Thoroughly check references.

    Fully featured product.

    Complex to customize.

    Provided better quality professional services.

    Adopt a structure SDLC approach to product customization.

    Complex feature set requires learning curve but is rewarding in the end.

    The product has integrated well with many other existing organizational solutions to bring data to one manageable space.

    Carefully organize and structure your data silos in the beginning.

    The flexibility and options.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Sometimes support engineers do not communicate with each other causing us to have to explain the issue repeatedly.

    Support tickets need to be addressed quicker.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    We would have been more organized with our data in the beginning of the implementation.

    Very flexible with importing, exporting, and manipulation of data in a variety of ways.

    Support is quick to respond but sometimes requires constant re-explaining of the issue.

    Integrates very well into existing platforms and upgrades have gone smoothly.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    The Sales team did a poor job of informing the services team of our needs and requirements. It's like we had to start over to educating them about our needs and requirements. Presales and Services are two different organizations and have two different goals which are not focused on the customer.

    We are still in the implementation phase.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    The product does not screen or filter the display of SSAN for vendors having data in this field. The fields are not encrypted. If there a data breach, the data would be exposed. When you generate a report it shows the sensitive field.

    User Friendly Vendor Management tool.

    I like the tool, it's user friendly and the out of the box functionality for the vendor management module meets our needs.

    Have your requirements soldified.

    VM module is user friendly.

    Haven't used it enough to make an informed comment.

    I can't think of anything.

    Get involved earlier in the process, I only just started using the product recently and would like to have been involved sooner.
