I felt that RingCentral worked better last year compared to now, especially since getting rid of Zoom/Ring Central Meetings (note: I and my clients have been using the same devices/headsets/internet connections throughout this whole process). I am still doing/leading all telehealth mental health counseling sessions and groups with my company so most of my review is based on the video meeting component. I would like to add that I am technically inclined an am usually the go-to for my co-workers on how to use RingCentral when they are having issues. I've had so many glitches and start-up problems in the last 2-3 months that the product has really turned me off as well as my clients and co-workers (we spend a lot of time complaining about it in staff meetings).  For instance, just today 2 of my sessions had major echos ( never an issue with RCzoom) so I had to mute myself every time I was trying to listen. This is just not acceptable for a clinical session especially with all the products available now.  Last week, I had to re-start a group 2x (glitches/echos) and lost people out of their building frustration. Every day glitches involve: 1) The button to let people into a meeting often disconnects them.  2) Video can take up to a minute to turn on after hitting video. 3) Video and audio have about a 75% non match rate (Bruce Lee sessions) and video freezes constantly. 4) My number one issue is that clients have to join audio and video every session with drop down menus (older people do not get this concept btw) and don't have the time to mull through instructions to learn how to set it up on their devices. 5) I share a lot of videos so not being to share audio unless I am on the web seems ridiculous. 6) Lastly, I am actually mad that the session clock went away.

RingCentral has been a great improvement over our previous phone system. They have done a great job with implementation and getting us going with the product. There is still some room for improvement but I have used the RingCentral idea portal to submit ideas and have seen them implement some of the ideas I have seen in there. So I am impressed and hopeful that the improvements will continue.

During sales and implementation process communication was great. After that, we had a difficult time getting a person to help us through our issues, concerns, and training needs. It seemed once the sale happened and we were officially implemented no one cared about our concerns, despite emailing asking for assistance.

The tool is very good and does what it sets out to do. However, it is getting it to work correctly that is the problem and has been, not just for me but for many of my colleagues. Since the implementation of RC company-wide, I have had three waves of problems:
1) First-wave: Some installation issues, cannot recall exactly what.
2) Second-wave, greatest of all, still recurring: Ring Central's updated version constantly clashes with the Classic version. For some reason, the Classic's uninstallation did not work. Whether it was in-house IT or RC's tech support, we constantly found the Classic version stored back in program files even after deletion. This would also interrupt and completely shut down the other, newer version from working. End result - no RC for me, and multiple missed messages. The email reminder for un-answered messages also came 4 hours after the initial message, and I had to constantly let people know to email me directly and not to use RC.
3) Third-wave, current, recurring: Inability to work with MS Edge and sudden loss of ability to schedule meetings. I was unable to use the + sign in the upper right corner to schedule meetings, but could do the same when I went to the video option of the left side panel. Both should work, and do the same job. Only one does. It also does not connect quickly to wi-fi networks when changing work-sites, requiring a full shutdown and reboot. I have been forced to log in via a web browser to access Glip messages, though the application is installed on my laptop. Very unreliable.

In summary, great when it works, doesn't work so often.

RingCentral provides all the basic functions needed for my call center. We had taken steps to upgrade to their Call Center product. Their implementations team was an abysmal failure despite our willingness and intentional efforts to help them succeed. I am not a very critical person but I have several data points to prove they did not value or align with our business needs. We couldn't help but feel undervalued by the person assigned to our account. In 2-3 meetings, it was clear to us his responses to our questions were from someone on the call sending him text message to read back to us. Their communication was poor and action item commitments unmet. Touchpoints to discuss our concerns were often rescheduled despite our willingness to accommodate their schedules. Under duress, I was asked to "just sign" their BRD. The majority of their meetings consisted of no less than 6 people (usually 8-10) where the primary focus on what the product "could do". Sadly, the quality and level of service we received from our RingCentral team was so poor that we paid for their implementations services (so-called) but decided we would stay on our current basic platform and abandon implementing the Call Center product they sold us. The cost would be less to abandon the upgrade and stay on a limited but stable platform and forfeit spending additional time and money making configuration changes in a product and investing in training efforts for a product and a RingCentral support team we have very little confidence in. We had really hoped this would solve a lot of our call management goals (i.e. call back features, enhanced dashboards and metrics, etc.). We gave RingCentral every opportunity to succeed. Unfortunately, they were unable to meet our needs.

RIng Central offers convenient and user friendly functionality for the end user that allows Staff to collaborate in an online space despite geographical distance.  It is simple to use as a first time user-I used it for new hire orientation events with Staff who had a range of technical capabilities.

I believe that RingCentral allows me to effectively stay in continuous communication with my coworkers via all avenues, from messaging, video meetings, phone calls to each other and customers, and more. It's all in one place and all reliable. All features are integrated smoothly and easily accessible within the singular program. 
While it is undeniable the program is extensive and can be overwhelming if you dive into the deep end of the pool too quickly (without taking time to properly learn how it works), it just takes patience and then you can take of a wealth of features and resources. As a daily user of RingCentral, I heartily recommend it to organizations with sizeable workforces that need constant communication within the office and with outside parties.

RingCentral is a very good program to set up meetings for work. It is easy to navigate and to set up meetings on a daily basis. Obviously, there are some minor things that could be improved to have a better experience but it is still very good.

I feel that the customer service with the setup went smooth and we didn't have very many hiccups in the process of implementing this product. I also like the ability to use the video conferencing when we cannot get google hangouts to work properly. We rolled this out over a staff of about 40 and it went really smooth.
