    Implementation provided the functionality required for quick development of first internal mobile application

    Overall experience with the product and what was delivered was good.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Ability to use different frameworks for development of mobile applications as well as the fact that applications can be deployed across various mobile devices. Being in financial services and insurance our core competency should not be having to understand how to work across the multitude of devices and form factors.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Better understand the security integration required to provide the users a more seamless experience within the application since SSO was not enabled to start within our environment.

    Solid Platform, but learning curve involved in getting best value out of it!

    - Provides a complete ecosystem for quickly rolling out mobile apps. - Accommodates flexible application architectures including native, hybrid et al - Provides hooks into tools for analytics, security scans, push notifications et al...easy integration with IBM tools like AppScan, TeaLeaf et al.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    - Get some training on the best way to utilize the platform. - Understand capabilities and limitations of the platform ahead of time. - Choice of application architecture (native vs hybrid) is critical for successful outcomes.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Provides a complete ecosystem for mobile app development.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    - Direct Update feature was not easy to implement as recommended; it was hard to disable the feature as well. - Integration with some existing enterprise tools don't work as expected although the platform supports those.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    - Provide documentation on best practices for app development on the platform. - Provide a forum to discuss platform specific issues instead of relying on a site like Stackoverflow

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Engage in a PoC to test the platform thoroughly for various application architectures and test its integration with existing enterprise tools.

    Service & support - overall comment

    We opened quite a few trouble tickets (PMRs) for the product but didn't always find an acceptable resolution. The support process was time consuming due to the scattered nature of IBM's support team.

    IBM Mobile Application platform performs as advertised. The platform is known to many 3rd party vendors and support from the user community is diverse.
