So far expereince has been about 75% good and 25% bad. I say 25% but that is partly our Departments fault as well. We currently are the only one want to do Hardware Encryption when most encyrptions are 99.9% software. We are still decididng between which route to go. Software encryption seems to be the most logical answer right now but we must convince our Security team as well.

This vendor has consistently asked us to upgrade the hardware, doubling and then doubling again the processor and memory for the underlying servers to address performance issues. None of the hardware upgrades have alleviated the performance issues. Additionally, they have recommended installing the latest patch to address our issues. We have applied 4 patches and each one has not only NOT addressed the issue, but has caused additional issues. Most of these systems are not being recognized by the central server as being protected. As this is a compliance environment, we must be able to accurately report on the number of systems protected and their current status.
