    Complicated software to manage, need expertise in supporting.

    After Dell acquired Credant, support has suffered.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Define end goals clearly before evaluation.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Flexibility in the policy definition.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Weak support and longer support process.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Have a clear roadmap aligned with new OS's.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Try to simplify the architecture and support model.

    Dell DDPE and 2FA incompatibility.

    Overall Comment

    Each component works very well by itself; however, we found that Dell's DDPE and 2FA products are currently incompatible with each other (something to do with authentication). So a machine employing DDPE encryption cannot have 2FA installed and vice-versa.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Fully explore your use-cases and test those before purchase.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    They each accomplish their mission well.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Incompatibility with other security tools.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Make both products compatible. Encrypted files and two-factor authentication are both basic and different elements of a good security strategy.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Due diligence testing both products together before purchase.

    Don't be afraid of the unknown, search for it, find solutions.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Simplicity, quick to market.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Web interface can be slow.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Remind us of the gotchas that they already knew about.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Keep it more internal, own it more.

    Works with our Dell Laptops better

    Not good for not Windows based laptops

    Worked better with Printers

    Dell's DDP solution - effective, seamless and invisible, just what users need.

    A few issues with installation but were overcome and worked through quickly.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Implement both disk and removable media solutions together. It may result in a large change in culture but it is better to accomplish this once.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    It integrated with the iOS best among other competators

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    On this solution nothing.
