    Implementation went well considering we had to rip out BitLocker

    Overall Comment

    We were running BitLocker on all are mobile devices. McAfee support worked with us to put together a plan to remove BitLocker and install MacAfee. They also provided user documentation and guidance for the initial rollout. Are SE at the time was very helpful also.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    If posible put the products up againts on another in a real world enviroment.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    The product lets us manage the laptops in are environment that still require BitLocker. We can manage the BitLocker keys from the McAfee ePO console. We also like that Full disk and File folder are both supported.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    The initial install would be easier if the product could communicate with AD (Active Directory) at the PBA (Pre Boot Auth). This would allow new users to authenticate without having to pre configure users to the device.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    On-site support would have been helpful at first.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    We selected Credant over McAfee and the pilot went so bad we requested a refund, I wish we would have went with McAfee first.

    McAfee did it right with mobile data protection.

    It is a good product, just waiting for the vendor to deliver on promises.

    More education to IT support on how to write exceptions.

    The product deployed with little impact to the end user community.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Lack of MAC support.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Supported MAC.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Included MAC support in the written contract; purchased in 2013, implemented in 2014 and still waiting for the Q2-2014 deliverable on MAC compatibility.
