It was very easy to work with Tangoe. We had an attentive account manager who worked with us for months to find the right solution. We never felt pressured to go to contract and their consultation was valuable.
Start with a defined scope of services - don't try and include everything at once. For instance , start with mobile phone management and you can add in iPads and telecom billing at a later stage.
Self service for our employees - and visiblity to costs.
Not always intuitive but we are still updating and making changes so it is improving.
They promoted their new Matrix system and we were sold to go with the latest technology. But they were not ready to support us once we were ready to deploy. I wish they would have recommended the current release from the start.
We would have moved a bit faster knowing what we know now. We might have over thought what we needed which prolonged the process for deployment.
Our account manager is the best. However, the lead that was assigned to support our account was not as good. We are in the process of changing the resource

Prepare for BYOD.
Ease of integration.
Isolation of corporate data on non-company owned devices.
Detailed review of other providers in the same space.
Limited at the time of implementation.
Implemented as planned.
