Salesforce are responsive to our needs

Oftentimes Salesforce adhere very closely to the SLA times agreed in the contract. If you want something completed sooner, it can be difficult to get them to agree.

The deeper you get into the functionality, the wider you can create internal efficiencies.

Business process rules and systematic execution of internal controls highlighted and reinforced our internal teams' discipline. I wish system provided more mandated use by teams with better log in and use functionality.

Tool is powerful but integrations still need some work

The product hasn't had the integration strength that the vendor led us to believe. We've been able to get around it, but it hasn't been seamless. We still have ways to go to leverage the full functionality of the application.

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Story

The product is terrific, I've not found anything that it cannot do natively, or with a little coaxing. Their services teams are not so good. There are great individuals, but their overall services leadership leaves much to be desired. We no longer use their services team as a result, and far better for it.

Great functionality Eventually

Very strong provider - but not without flaw. Many products are launched that do not work as expected. In fact, many have outright failed at launch. Their support teams do a good job working through issues to make things work. Bottom line is that any new technology comes with flaws and excuses. Other than that, I have found that we can make sales force do whatever we need to do. When we have an idea, it can usually be taken care of through the tools.

Implementation was successful but learning curve in dealing with cloud platform and tech.

Quality service and stability but lag time on items that were deemed customizable.

Marketing Cloud

Fairly smooth implementation, some opportunities with product capabilities

Their platform and technology are very developer friendly for email marketing production and management. It's not as user-friendly for marketers as other platforms. Overall though the technology is pretty solid Where we think Salesforce could improve though is with their customer support model. Outside of a relationship manager, they don't really have a structure to provide direct support contact to clients which is present with other vendors. This appears to be an area of opportunity

Encryption has caused too many use issues

Platform functionality has worked great, but we enabled encryption, which has proven to limit our use of many of the main features/reporting. Therefore, are considered to re-evaluate as this still has not been worked out. Support has been hit or miss. A lot more back and forth than needs to be and eval that doesn't need to be done.

Business transformation

A large, complex execution involves business change too

Implementation was easy. no software to install. (SaaS)

Implementation went very well. we are currently training our sales rep on how to use the salesforce and service cloud. We are so excited to have this product so we can market our brand and campaigns.
