Install and setup was extremely fast and straightforward. Sales and support teams have been knowledgeable and always available. The amount of data and the visibility into your network is amazing. Product is still maturing and we have ran into several bugs with the software.

Our environment , which is quite large, was in need of a monitoring solution to hep and expedite application issues. We found during our assesment that Extrahop met all our needs and ther support we have recieved from them has been great....

Vendor was very helpful and responsive in getting us going and even invited us to a free training event at a local hotel.

Extrahop proved to us in a Proof of Concept that they were able to quickly solve some of the operational problems we experienced with some of our business critical applications. Based on this outcome the product was bought and fully operational in our environment. We are now able to analyse our IT infrastructure in a short period of time and improve there where necessary.

Implementation was short and sweet, we were up and running. The built-in dashboards provided insight that very day. Only to get better once we outlined our needs allowing the Sales Engineer to do his magic.

ExtraHop was a late entry into our evaluations of a Network Performance Monitoring Tool. The product provided extra information not seen on competitors that we tested. The staff was very helpful, Tim Demarco bent over backwards to demonstrate the tools usefulness to our entire staff. Brian Shepard setup the system and placed dashboards that provided much insight into what we have on our network. The system was available and providing very useful information with just a few hours.

From the start of the sales funnel all the way up to final implementation ExtraHop was an amazing partner. They helped us pick the right product, size it and gave us plenty of time and access to their engineers to run a full proof of concept. Very few hiccups and they always had people able to troubleshoot. After purchasing their tech support has been one of the best I have worked with.

The product gives exceptional visibility into the interactions and dependencies of applications, database servers. It is a key aid in troubleshooting as it helps narrow down the potential areas which are causing the problems. The sales engineer was extremely helpful and the sales team ensured a successful implementation. The PoC sold the product.

If you ever have been caught in the discussion with a vendor that "the error is on your side", but you know that's not the case? I have, several times... ExtraHop helped us solve many of these issues, straight out of the box with the built-in widgets, how? I can share an example with you, we had for a big project around 20 consultants that was working from our main office against on-premises servers (fully clustered and load balanced) and applications but they all had difficulties connecting to the systems, all Microsoft systems, so they were using Remote Desktop, SQL Manager, web browsers and some self-developed tools. At first they didn't report this to the IT support, our knowledge about this came from our employed test users that got strange certificate errors when testing, so after som investigation we did find out that the consultants were connecting using IP-addresses, not FQDN and furthermore they did their development and coding with IP's instead of FQDN and on top they didn't use the "cluster IP" they used different cluster members IP's. The only help we got from the consultants was that "this has never happened in any other customers environment" (ever heard that before?), so we had to try to problem solve this without any help from them. But that was no problem, just open up the projects DB/IIS/Network performance dashboard and we could see that we didn't have any performance issues, what caught my eye was the built-in widget for DNS errors, and will, all clients computers was failing to resolve DNS requests, we could see that the consultants computers tried to get to their own DNS at their own office. That didn't work for a cause, but we couldn't get them to accept this and make necessary changes until we had a written report from ExtraHop.
