Guidewire InsuranceSuite

Performance and Change control can be issues.

Guidewire's services generally provides above average consultants. However, they often do not follow Guidewire's own best practices which can be very frustrating. The product suite overall appears to be targeted to small or very small carriers which can make it challenging to implement at medium to large carriers. Performance and product upgrades can be an issue. Don't be surprised if a maintenance release causes big headaches.

Implementation leverage high degree of OTB functionality with little custom configuration

Excellent experience. High degree of partnership between the customer, vendor and SI.

Excellent implementation with conversion and EDI more complex than expected.

Excellent, well constructed, feature rich software. Too distant of a relationship in implementation.

ClaimCenter, Guidewire InsuranceSuite

Implementation can be time consuming and difficult.

Overall the upgrade to ClaimCenter 8 (we had CC4) went well, but the process of converting to BillingCenter/PolicyCenter from our legacy systems has proven challenging and taking signficantly longer then the vendor estimated it would.

Guidewire InsuranceSuite
