What are Sales Enablement Platforms?

Sales enablement platforms (SEPs) are tools that unite sales enablement functions and customer-facing sales execution. They predominantly feature native capabilities for sales content, sales training and coaching. SEPs can also offer open APIs to integrate with offerings from complementary vendors with selling relationships and prebuilt integration for bidirectional data sharing and synchronization for seamless access by end users between applications. They are used for internal and partner/channel enablement.

"Great, simple and reliable remote engagement platform."

Since we've been using ClearSlide for the past two years, we were able to get a head start and teach our field employees on how to conduct successful virtual meetings. ClearSlide made the process simple, and their technical assistance has been excellent as well. When I send out decks, I also use the link building feature. What pages are being browsed and for how long is clearly visible to me. This has undoubtedly contributed to a rise in closed/won transactions.

In the last year I have used both Highspot and Showpad to enable the sales team. Highspot provides a powerful tool that makes it easy for Sales to find, use and share marketing assets. More importantly for Marketing, it also simplifies the tracking and maintenance of assets and eliminates overhead tasks like tagging assets. Showpad seems a few years behind.

They are true partners and collaborators on the success of the project by always looking for proactive ways to make the app even more user friendly to drive sales.

Coming from a traditional sales enablement platforms such as salesforce, bigtincan seems different at first but perpetually gets better once you get started. It's easy of use and access gets more intutive as you progress. It's easy to share as well as limit the 'sharing capabilities' with a solid visual UI.
