Sugar meets our current needs. We are expanding usage to include Customer Success and PMO office team members. Our 3rd party VAR (Plus Consulting) is excellent at scope-ing and presenting solutions and alternatives

Functionality is deep and wide once the system has been properly configured. Requires more upfront investment and focus to get the templates right. Doesn't provide as many standard templates as salesforce or other mature CRM platforms, but we needed an on-premise solution for security reasons and Sugar was one of the few that had this option.

The system works well for what we need for the most part, but is not user-intuitive. There are certain things, in terms of labeling types of prospects, etc., that are difficult to do. Customizing labels is not an option.

Overall we have a great relationship with SugarCRM and our UK development partner Enable IT. They are responsive and work collaboratively with us as we continue to develop and integrate CRM with our other operating systems. as part of our IT road map.

Sugar application is simple, robust and flexible. Modelers project and Sugar engineers help us efficiently.
