Initial implementation was efficient and resulted in a company quick win. Ongoing maintenance renewals have been hassle free and predictable.
The vendor has been open, honest and collaborative with our needs and future suggestions.

Proofpoint has been fantastic to work with tech support is top notch.
Dont think about it just do it.
After setting up dont spend more than minutes a day working on it.
Spear phishing protection has been invaluable.
Made hardware more customizable.
Should have made the leep long ago.

We used ProofPoint professional services and was very happy with the outcome. We had no interruption in mail flow.
I would suggest Cloud vs on-prem, we ran on-prem for many years and Cloud has been so much easier.
Product is great, support is great and they have free online training.
There is really nothing we would do different, everything went as planned due to all the planning on the front end.
PP is leading the way.

Support engineer was extremely helpful and played a vital and much-appreciated role in the rollout.
Maintain and appreciate the value of the support engineers.
Ease of use. Works right out of the "box." Speed and ease of use was a major selling point as well.
The TAP service while works great, the administrative visibility into the results could use some enhancements.
Build on their TAP service. Interface is slightly different than the main product and the sandboxing used should be updated with newer machines.
Purchase more services from the start rather wait some time.
Support has always responded timely and accurately without fail.
Easy and quick to install. No issues with the rollout. 0 downtime.

Vendor very responsive, to include engineering team. Had our PoS environment set-up and baseline within 5 business days.
Have your/their legal review documents FIRST, prior to PoS or procurement.
The ease of management and ease of use for our customers.
A little pricey, but the performance and features kind of tilt the scales (not much though).
Nothing at this time.
Wouldn't do anything different.

Organization willing to work within our own complex operating environment. While working on enterprise and strategic matters extended proof of concept period and worked with us to satisfy short term mitigation needs. Executive focus and sales pragmatism.
Vet architecture for your own load and other network semantics. Integrating such a product within our environment made us learn so much about us. Mostly through error. A certain feature while it appears pretty straightforward may cause other parts to break (especially given how much one relies on email)
Small number of false positives, integrates easily and works.
Integration with third party products and sometimes invasive approach to email (e.g., URL protection rewrites the URL resulting in many searches of a mailbox to become invalid). Searching for the word "proof point" will bring every single email that ever had a URL in it.
Changing lawyers twice while negotiating a complex enterprise agreement wasted a lot of time for all of us.
Enterprise contracts with multiple underlying companies can indeed take more than three months to finalize. Would probably have started slightly smaller.

Great product, has improved our threat posture on the email front. Only complaint is cost, but it's an industry leading tool.
understand the digest and review overall email/server architecture to maximize effectiveness.
Effectiveness at catching threats and reporting on those data points.

Easy integration into our environment. Good vendor support. Good online administrative tools. They met our very tight deadline due to retirement of previous on prem solution.
Research all tools they offer and try to negotiate pricing down on mutliple tools selection.
Online reporting is very robust.
Best coverage requires multiple tools and is very expensive.
Product solution is great, team has good support. Pricing is biggest challenge.
More lead time for planning cutover.
Very easy to integrate and deploy. Less than two weeks of setup and config to have it fully operational.

The implementation team really knew their stuff. Smooth and fast transition to "go live".
Plan carefully and understand the options before implementing live.
accurately processes inbound and outbound mail according to our rules and configurations.
Occasionally a rule will simply stop working and require a call into Support to fix.
The vendor was rock solid on this, no complaints.
Invest more in admin training upfront to fully understand the dizzying array of knobs and dials to fiddle with.
Support is very good and responsive. At times responses to requests for problem solving take longer than we'd like but they are communicative and professional along the way.
Proofpoint understood our environment and requirements and there were no unplanned disruptions or missteps in the implementation.
