    Overall Comment

    Despite all support being received via online ticket entry the support is excellent. Responses are timely. The customer portal provides easy access to review issues reported, follow up and customer notes as needed. Very intuitive.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Evaluate all options and include Proofpoint - we are very happy with our choice.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Reasonable cost, well managed, seamless.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Nothing to dislike

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Telephone support would be pleasing for immediate gratification and voice feedback. However, the online portal method for customer support is more than effective and efficient.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Nothing - perhaps evaluate additional offerings.

    Strong recommendation for Proofpoint, both for technical capabilities and service delivery

    Overall Comment

    Proofpoint has an outstanding product. Their team was extremely knowledgeable and put in the time to learn the unique requirements we have and helped device a good solution. Post deployment they brought signficant resources to bear to make sure issues that arose during deployment were properly addressed.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Excellent protection from email-based threats. Strong set of additional services available.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Time needed to address false positivies.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Nothing I can think of.

    Easy implimentation, good results.

    Overall Comment

    Proofpoint cut phishing by over 90%. It has saved us a huge amount of remediation time and effort. The vendor was very easy to work with and were always available for questions and implimentation recommendations

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Proofpoint is a good solution, however it was the most expensive option we explored.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Phishing prevention

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    The spam filter is almost too aggressive and it takes some time to adjust the filter.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Give stronger recommendations around handling bulk email

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    We did not use digests immedaitely. That was a mistake and could have saved our administrators a lot of time addressing issues.

    Proofpoint Just Works

    Overall Comment

    The implementation was without drama and the system improved our ability to secure our environment by a factor of 100.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Plan the implementation and be prepared to support and modify settings during the early stages of deployment. Once the settings are fine tuned the product works exceptionally well.

    Implementation was had some rough patches, but they met the challanges and delivered.

    Proofpoint does a great job stopping phising and malware attacks. The add new protections and continute to inovate.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Make sure you know what all features do before enabling them.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Good people to dela with overlall.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    The monitotring limitation. Time will tell if they seperate the in and outbound queues for monitoring.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Monitoring. We have alarms built to alarm if incomming mail is above a threshold and thier monitoring does not seperate incomming andoutgoing queues. Are business is very sensitive to incomming delasys due to possible loss of business. So we currently don't use their service for outbound mail becase of this limitation.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    More testing of all features. It is easy to not allow enough time for testing. The other thing working with a SaaS vendor is you have to keep in mind that for implmentation you may have to repeat your goals several times sa you get passed through the different phases becase there is a Sales, POC, and implmentation teams that are all different.

    Great product, but initial implementation took a lot of effort and professional services.

    The overall user experience is good but implementation took a lot of time due to problems with professional services provided by Proofpoint.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Make sure you have a plan and implementation schedue to provide to professiaonal services and hold them to deadlines.

    Does what it says on the box. First class all the way.

    Overall Comment

    The vendor solution is a great example of a powerful cloud-based security-aaS offering. Implementation was straightforward, interaction subsequently is seamless. The actual email protection is better than the previous product we were using, and we really like the various levels of response that it allows for. We also like how it future-proofs us for an upcoming move to O365.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Try before you buy. It was a great fit for us, but you might find that it doesn't fit you quite so well. We have a complex email environment, so the diverse feature set worked well for us. It wasn't cheap, but it does give excellent value for money.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    The ease of implementation, and the value noticed by the user community. It has been a major win for the security organization.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    The price.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Actually, nothing. They've been great to work with.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    We would have implemented this solution a year ago.

    Product is great and provides additional securtiy however the implemenation team was not the best.

    Keep track of changes that professional services makes in system.

    Advanced threat protection.

    Not rely on professional services to be responsive and configure system.

    Service teams are ok however it was a challange working with professional services. They were not available and the issues did not get resolved in a timely mannor.

    Dont think about it just do it.

    After setting up dont spend more than minutes a day working on it.

    Spear phishing protection has been invaluable.

    Made hardware more customizable.

    Should have made the leep long ago.
