Vendor has a good stable product. Slightly disappointed in some of the agent functionality. However, support has been helpful with workarounds. Support has been helpful when you push their availability.
Logging infrastructure is not a project but a program. Operational considerations need to be taken into account.
The appliance is basically plug and play for most devices of interest.
Support services need to be nudged. Level of expertise varies.
Greater support for third party logs ( XML and SAP ).
I would have raised a greater awareness about this initiative within IT so that other areas could start to provide resources for deployment.
Performs needed functions
Service needs to be nudged when needed. Sometimes difficult to schedule working troubleshooting sessions.
Most of intergration was configured by a Tibco LogLogic employee onsite for a few days but our team was able to watch and learn.
