    Quick implementation possible if processes and master data are standardized

    IFS is a nice company to work with, professional and competent staff.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Make sure you have stong in-house knowledge of the product and management upport

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    The new interface, makes it fun to demo to new users

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    There are still performance problems in some areas which should have been addressed years ago

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Spend even more time on standardizing processes

    Easy implementation of a highly flexible product

    Great relationship with IFS. Strong production support when needed both from Consulting and Support organisations

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Limit the amount of customistion of product, both IFS provided customisations and inhouse.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Far stronger internal controls for functionality developed using the IFS custom configuration tools (custom fields, views, IALs etc)

    Please prepare dedicate Project Management.

    Friendly User Interface and can expect scalability

    wanted to have a local partner. Please expand partner network in Japan.

    we want to create different Project team and take topdown approach next time.

    IFS was committed to our success and engaged with us at every phase of our latest upgrade project, as well as several prior upgrades.

    Support is available and competent. Occasionally issues can take an extended time to resolve.

    Overall we are very satisfied with IFS. We always wants to do some improvements.

    Good functionality. Good consultancy. Ok performance. GUI could be better (we running 7.5 which has the old GUI). Project Management, we been working with very good project leaders but also those that could improve.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Good project management from the supplier is very important. Also a carefully written contract is essential.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    The stability of the system.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Some function areas must be developed, ie. retail pricing

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Develop even more for the retail industry.

    We think the support is to our needs, day-to-day it's good and if something bad happens and it urgent, we always gets quick help.

    IFS listens to customers, many new features requested included in latest release

    Consultants are knowledgeable. Fewer IFS consultants available both at IFS and in market than needed. IFS Project Managers provide accurate budget estimates.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Do team training first on all modules you think you might use so team understands how the modules interact with one another.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Very stable application with all modules tightly integrated.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    We are on an older version & older versions are not easy to update. IFS has corrected this situation in Apps 9.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Improve Call Center response & resolution times.

    This is a rating for our version. If we were on the latest, I expect it would be a 5.

    Again, Professional Services provided are typically excellent. The Call Center needs improvement.

    Very consistent with great support.

    They have been a great partner, very responsive to any issues.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Look at the stability of the company. I have seen companies pretty miserable after a bunch of vendor changes with forced migrations.

    The consistency of the experience over the years.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Occasional language barrier in documentation.

    Manage growth to ensure consistent support.

    Try to get end users more involved in the process.
