    Buy only the product and find an integrater for the implementation

    Deploying Customer Projects using SAP is easy , but tools need user interface improvements

    Implemented Customer Projects using SAP's PS, FI/CO, SD/Logistics and MM modules

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Do not overlook SAP for this functionality as it exists and the major advantage is the complete integration with other modules

    Integration with all other SAP modules and one ERP can be used for Make to Stock, Make to Order or Engineer to Order businesses

    Enhance the Project Systems module by making it more user friendly

    Enhance the Project Systems module by making it more user friendly

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Ensure that SAP's Project Systems functionality is enhanced by User Interface tools like Fiori or add on functions from SAP Certified vendors who have improved the functionality.

    We have internal support with lot of SAP knowledge in house

    One of best suites around for integration between various modules. There are user interface issues, but these can be managed through continuous training.

    Ensure you have a cookbook for acquisitions.

    Broad functionality.

    Costly for integration.

    Wish the implementation vendor had the correct resources lined up initially versus changing them later.

    Align more business resources upfront.

    Implementation was hard. We had a lot of problem that we are still resolving.

    We did not have a good experience with the first vendor. The first deployment was not successfully implemented. The user community did not like the system. We brought in the a second vendor to fix many problems left by the first vendor. We are still working to change the perception and get buy in from the user community.

    Choose your vendor very carefully

    Very clumsy and not user friendly, cost too much.

    The vendor has honesty and integrity in doing business instead of just gauging money from us

    Be more careful about selecting vendor, the contract would be structured differently to protect us.

    Not an easy implementation, but well done and with great satisfaction from functional user

    Great Product which has a lot of funcionalities. Great Support, excelene LSM and future vision from the vendor.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Is not a push-a-button-do-it-all system. It will change some process and most likely you will need to redefine the roles of people.

    Integration.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    I will change the implementation roadmap.
