There were bugs in the platform and we also ran into integration issues (with GitHub Enterprise, for example) from time to time, but the vendor has always been very responsive with their support. Bug fixes were also made in timely fashion.

We find issues from time to time and getting them addressed in a timely manner doesn't always happen.

Overall experience has been very good. They do a great job of staying in contact with us as well and have been very instrumental in answering any questions that we might have.

SmartBear product TestComplete has worked fairly well in USPTO organization in supporting test automation mission and their support team has been very responsive to our needs and even providing patches that were not released yet. On the flip side there has been performance issues with working on NextGen panel heavy web applications and with every new TestComplete update there has been web objects recognition issues with their name mapping.

If some stability issue were solved and a few corrections increasing the comfort of work were made it would be perfect for my purposes.Ready!API is easy to learn. There are useful tutorials on product's web page. Creating API test is very fast. Very useful both for manual and automatic testing. Tests are easy to run and they quickly execute. Working with UI is simple and quick, there are basic assertions prepared easy to add to test steps. One of the biggest advantages is a possibility to use Groovy scripts and JDBC request for more complex validation or API manipulation to achieve specific scenarios. It's a great tool but there are some things because of which it's not perfect. The biggest issue is its stability, I have to save a lot my project in case Ready!API would freeze or some functionalities stop working or project is not saving. Fortunately, it's not a big effort to restart Ready!API. Also, I wish it would be possible to build more complex folder structure within project than just project->testsuite->test cases. Tags are great, but it's not the same. Still, I enjoy working with this tool.

A nearly ideal customer/vendor relationship. Our contacts at SmartBear have been very positive and responsive, providing timely and constructive answers to technical questions. SmartBear's online knowledge base and forums are substantial. Technical support organization seems mature and effective. Account management contacts have been excellent.

The software contains enough customization features to accommodate nearly any use case. Problems arise when dealing with source control integration. We do not use GIT, and that is the only source control plugin supplied. Manual source control with composite projects is a hassle and easy to mess up. Additionally, the software is not entirely stable, but we are not on the latest version, so that could potentially be fixed by now.
